Key Result Areas & Performance Project Management To manage and successfully deliver projects, providing project management support and a hands-on approach to achieve successful implementation. Working as an integral member of LGTs Estate Redevelopment Team, you will play a critical part in the delivery of a number of capital projects across our hospital and community sites, including the planning and delivery of a programme of improvements to our existing Urgent Emergency Care Department at University Hospital, Lewisham. You will also be involved on the development and delivery of long-term redevelopment and regeneration plans for the Trusts two hospital sites. As a Senior Project Manager, you will report directly into and working closely with a Redevelopment Project Director. You will be involved in all aspects of a variety of design stage and construction projects with values ranging from £100,000 up to Several Million Pounds, from RIBA Stage 0 through to Stage 7. You will lead internal project teams as well as being responsible for acting as client to external consultants and contractors. You will ideally have practical experience of delivering healthcare projects. Experience of undertaking stakeholder and/or community engagement on redevelopment and construction related projects would be an advantage. Driving High Quality and Sustainable Outcomes The Director of Performance and Planning and Deputy COO will lead on the identification of any performance risks or issues and work with the Clinical Group Chief Executives to develop impactful solutions. The post holder will lead the direction and oversight of performance and assurance at an aggregate level across the Trust meets its statutory responsibilities and that any performance risks are identified in a timely manner. They will also lead on the design, development and deployment of the appropriate reporting and monitoring mechanisms to the Trusts and Clinical Groups Boards. The post holder will work at the heart of a complex set of accountabilities and relationships. They will be expected to develop strong collaborative relationships both internally with the Clinical Groups and externally with the ICB and APC and neighbouring providers whilst maintaining an objective and constructive view of performance and elective recovery issues. The Head of Planning and Governance is responsible for a set of key corporate functions. Working closely with the Chief Executive, Chair and AGC Chair, the post holder will develop, implement and measure performance against corporate strategy, the corporate plan and annual business plans. They will take responsibility for corporate oversight of project and programme management and the running of the Chair and Chief Executives Office function as well as ensuring robust risk management arrangements. The Head of Planning and Governance will ensure that corporate decisions are taken and implemented effectively, and that board and committee business is conducted in accordance with standing orders. Strategic planning 1. Lead on the development of organisational strategy, a three year corporate plan (required by our framework agreement with our DHSC sponsors) and annual business plans, in liaison with the Authority, SMT and the Corporate Management Group, ensuring business planning and operational delivery arrangements are agreed and in place on an annual basis. Leadership of the risk management function, ensuring we have in place a sound and up to date risk strategy and associated documentation, and liaising and networking with the DHSC and other ALBs as needed. This will include working with and advising the RBPM to ensure ongoing management of risks and reporting to SMT, the Audit and Governance Committee (AGC) and CMG on strategic and operational risk registers, the risk strategy and the internal incident system. The Head will also be responsible for leading a complete triennial review of the strategic risk register in response to each new strategy. 13. Lead on the setting of internal audit parameters for GIAA audits of areas of the teams work, and take responsibility for reviewing internal audit reports and agreeing management actions and required evidence, in collaboration with the relevant Manager.
