Alpha Precast is an Australian family-owned business in the residential, industrial, and commercial architecture and structural precast panels offering a full product and service package with design, manufacturing, and leading installation services.
We are currently looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team based in Sydney.
Alpha Precast has been in the business since 2015 and provides services to the supplying of Precast walls, Structural, and Cladding Panels for Residential, Commercial, and Industrial sectors. Including Retaining walls, Noise walls, Flooring V Slab, Alpha Deck Precast formwork floors, Columns, Beams, Stairs, and Wheel stops.
You will be responsible for planning, organising, directing, controlling, and coordinating civil engineering projects. This will involve:
- Managing and planning the project budgets, costs, and financial resources efficiently.
- Communicating effectively with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Possessing effective project management abilities including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Interpreting the specifications and drawings.
- Resource allocation and scheduling the delivery of the materials.
- Consulting and coordinating with Drafting Engineers, other professionals, and trades workers for a smooth process.
- Preparing and managing the contracts.
- Adhering to compliance and safety.
- Managing the contractor’s and staff management
- Risk management and adhering to building legislation and standards.
- Negotiating and maintaining relationships with clients and contractors to complete the projects within the budget and timeframe.
- Staying updated on construction regulations and safety standards
- Ensuring compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
To be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate:
- Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or project management
- At least 5 years of experience in addition to the qualifications
- A valid white card from a registered training organisation (RTO) in Australia
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills required
This is a full time position and we are offering an attractive remuneration package ($90,000 - $100,000) to the successful candidate.
