My client is urgently seeking an experienced Credit Controller for their busy offices.
This is an immediate start, permanent role

Job description:

- Ownership of a small portfolio of member accounts.
- Ensuring the deadlines on the credit control calendar are met in relation to the accounts allocated to the role.
- Responsible for ensuring that the members payments are received on time and ensuring good communication is in place pre and post payment deadlines.
- Involvement in the businesses’ stop process.
- Monitoring and enforcing members credit limits.
- Ensuring any member issues or adverse events are raised and escalated internally.
- Pro active in resolving member/supplier queries working to reduce overdue debt and meet KPI’s.
- Ensuring that credit control processes are fully documented, reviewed and kept up to date.
- Ad-hoc administration duties as requested.


Person specification:

- Strong IT literacy, with a high level of competency in Microsoft Excel in particular
- Confidence and ability to build strong working relationships with team members and other stakeholders.
- Proven team player.
- Interpersonal skills sufficient to support, advise and influence members of staff from different parts of the business whilst providing strong financial control where necessary.
- Hands-on approach and proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Strong numeracy and mathematical ability
- Confident telephone manner and negotiation skills
- A willing and adaptable aptitude to provide support to the finance team when necessary, during busy periods or times of absence

Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical or Multiskilled)

The Company:
Are you an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician? Candidates from either a Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance background will be considered as there are two new roles within this busy engineering facility. In this swing shift role (combining earlies, lates and nights) you will be responsible for the daily maintenance and repair (preventative and emergency) of a wide range of production and engineering machinery. Previous experience in an Industrial Maintanence Engineering role is essential.

Job Responsibilities:

- Minimise production downtime by trouble shooting breakdowns and preventing reoccurrences.
- Work with electrical and mechanical drawings and documentation undertake fault finding and modification of plant and equipment.
- Use a Maintenance Management System carry out preventative/ planned maintenance work.
- Contribute to improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and reducing recurring issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment adhering to all EHS Company policies.
- Continuously enhance job knowledge through training and development opportunities.

Requirements:

- Successful completion of a time-served apprenticeship with a minimum level 3 qualification, BTEC/City and Guilds or equivalent.
- Demonstrated multiskilled proficiencyin pneumatic/hydraulic systems, fabrication, and welding.
- Proven competency in reading and interpreting electrical or mechanical diagrams as well as troubleshooting control panels.
- Ability to pass medical which includes assessments for working at height and in confined spaces.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with office software applications.
- Resilient, resourceful approach, with sound judgment and decision-making skills.
- Proactive work ethic, strong initiative, and the ability to operate independently within a shift team environment.

Pay and Hours:
Working across a Swing Shift pattern - 3 shifts (earlies, lates and nights), attracting a salary of £47500 (with paid overtime available at £29phr)

As the Pricing Manager of this global organising, you will take responsibility for the pricing strategies for 55,000 product lines which are sold worldwide. You will analyse and report on the results of pricing decisions in direct relation to sales using their inhouse business intelligence tool. There will also be some management responsibilities so this role would suit a Senior Pricing Analyst looking for that level of role, or a Pricing Manager seeking a responsible, global role in a fabulous organisation.

The Opportunity:

- Analyse cost price movements and new price/volume opportunities and communicate these to markets across the globe.
- Understanding the impact of pricing on DVP and perform financial evaluation to assess pricing action effectiveness.
- Take ownership of the selling price / DVP per market, vs budget.
- Maintain and regularly update a pricing history database.
- Manage the function of the department and oversee a small team.

You’ll be able to offer:

- Proven experience at a senior level of financial analysis. Experience of Strategic Price Scenario Modelling.
- Strategic thinker with strong business analytic skills sets including strong Excel and data modelling skills.
- Strong Transactional SQL skills.

HSE Advisor

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Industrial Health and Safety and Environment Advisor to join a team of HSE professionals within the manufacturing facility in Exeter. This is a full-time permanent position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering professional Health & Safety and Environment advise across all areas of manufacturing and operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and supporting the development and implementation of EHS strategies. You will play a critical role in providing technical guidance, managing training programs, and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

- Ensure full compliance with UK legislation and company standards for environment, health, and safety.
- Provide technical advice and support for a complex manufacturing site.
- Design and deliver training programs, including toolbox talks, permit writing, risk assessment, and emergency procedures.
- Maintain training databases, matrices, and annual schedules.
- Assist with internal and external auditing processes and maintain COSHH systems and provide guidance to site team members.
- Support and develop a team of local shop floor EHS Coordinators.
- Accurately report and investigate incidents and near misses.
- Complete and review risk assessments and safe systems of work in accordance with current legislation and company standards.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in a similear Health & Safety and Environment role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of UK and European health and safety legislation.
- NEBOSH Certificate.
- Ideally a degree in Health & Safety Management or the equivalent level of practical experience.
- Proven EHS professional with excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
