As a Production Operative, you will join the production team where you will be working on a production line and overseeing our beverage filling machine. Reporting to the Shift Manager you will work as a team to fulfil the day-to-day production targets.

Our Production Operative use their experience on machines to ensure our production operates efficiently and deliver outputs. You will identify any machine concerns and liaise with the engineer team on more complex situations. You will oversee production changeovers, cleaning the machine to start a new beverage production, adjusting machine settings and controls for optimal performance.

NO MACHINE EXPERIENCE - Don’t worry……If you are interested but don’t have machine experience, you can still join us. We will provide all the training and get you up to speed in the first 12 months.

Production Operative: Key responsibilities:

- Operating equipment/machinery and undertaking fault finding, changeovers including CIP where relevant, asset care, and basic machine maintenance activities.

What experience will you need as our new Quality Inspector?
We're open to considering your application whether you're relatively early in your career as a Quality Inspector, or perhaps you're more experienced and you're interested in taking on more of a Quality Lead role.

Either way, you’ll be an experienced Quality Inspector, comfortable completing first offs and in-process inspections, carrying out first article and final inspections against drawings to precision tolerances.

You’ll probably have more than two years’ experience of working as a Quality Inspector but if you have the skills already in less time, then we'll welcome your application too.

You'll have had some exposure to handling non-conforming parts, and it would be great if you have experience of producing non-conformance reports, working very closely, and regularly meeting with, customers to work through engineering challenges together.

As an experienced Quality Inspector you’ll know this already but to be clear, you’ll be confident in using a range of precision inspection tools to check dimensions of machined metal components to include gauges, micrometers, vernier calipers, microscopes, shadowgraphs, CMM and similar equipment. You don't need to know how to program a CMM because we have people who do, but you will need to be able to use one confidently. Depending on the level you join us at, you may also be spending more time working closely with our Directors on Quality Management Systems, processes and documentation, carrying out non-conformance investigations and reporting, and working with our customers to overcome engineering challenges together.

Job title: Quality Inspector
Location: Tewkesbury, commutable from Worcester, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stonehouse and surrounding areas.
Working hours: 39 hour working week, day shift, early finish on Fridays, overtime readily available.

Your duties as our new CNC Turner Setter Operator will include amongst other things

• Setting up and operating a CNC lathe
• Producing precision engineered component parts
• Checking the accuracy of your work against engineering drawings
• Keeping your area clean and tidy
• Plus any associated duties as required.
Reporting to your new manager, your job will see you producing precision engineered component parts mostly made from aluminium and stainless steel. You’ll join an already well established and supportive team where you’ll be welcomed and given all the support you need to settle in and to get up to speed in your new job. This is a very important role which will suit you if you take a pride in your work and you like to produce high quality products that you know will be put to good use. As you’re making them, you’ll know that the components you’re creating will go on to improve, and often even save someone's life.

Job Title: CNC Turner Setter Operator
Location: Tewkesbury
Essential requirement for this job: CNC Turning setting and operating experience
Working hours: 39 hours per week, twilight / night shift, four nights per week Monday to Thursday
Salary: as a guide, we’re looking to pay between £35,500 - £38,000, and please let us know your salary requirements and we will do our best for you. There is also lots of overtime available, paid at premium rates.

Warehouse Manager
£40,000 to £50,000 per annum DOE
We are looking for a Permanent Warehouse Manager for our Client in Castle Cary.

The Warehouse Manager will lead the full fulfilment operation and hold responsibility for the activities of the warehouse, ensuring that quality standards are met or exceeded every time.

The Warehouse Manager will coordinate all operations and drive high standards to ensure customer satisfaction, order completeness and safe delivery.

The ideal candidate is detail focused, people oriented and able to manage multiple facets of warehouse operations simultaneously. Employing best-practice policies and procedures, the role holder will lead the teams through effective delegation and resource planning.

Responsible for delivery of the business plan - including cost monitoring and control, accurate measurement of KPI’s, their delivery against targets and continuous improvement activities to increase efficiency and lower per order costs.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency with customer satisfaction the primary goal
- Ensure productivity targets and order fulfilment KPIs are achieved or bettered
- Manage workload planning by day/week/month and ensure planning for events, offers and seasonal variations are included
- Document and review standard operating procedures ensuring daily compliance for all food safety related activities
- Adopt a continuous improvement approach to warehouse operations and systems by optimising requirements, equipment utilisation, inventory, goods in procedures and IT related processes
- Train and manage the warehouse team day-to-day
- Minimise loss through accurate goods in and put away processes, pick accuracy, daily perpetual inventory checks and a complete monthly stock
- Generate reports and analyse them to determine trends
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations. Ensure training and refreshers are completed in good time and documented
- Administer HR related activities including rota planning, absence administration, timesheet sign off
- Raise, sign off and receipt purchase orders
- Monitor stock levels of and procure operational consumable items including packaging
- To deliver operational support activities: risk assessments, SOPs management, security, waste management & recycling, cleaning, property maintenance, equipment and consumables
- Provide means for continuous professional training and performance assessment of the team members through an effective performance assessment framework using objective setting and regular review
- Support the Head of Logistics, Deputise for them in times of absence.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Experience in logistics operations management
- Experience of scaling up operational output capacity and efficiency
- Experience of successful implementation and management of warehouse and procurement software systems.
- High confidence in working with complex processes
- Streamlining and automating for efficiency improvement and cost minimisation.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to communicate with team members and stakeholders at all levels
- FLT experience
- Microsoft office knowledge
