Our projects span the product lifecycle and cover a range of technological and programmatic complexities, covering mechanical and electrical design, supply chain selection, prototype and production manufacture, assembly & installation, testing and certification programmes.
We now have an opportunity available for an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager with the delivery of multiple projects covering development, production and delivery of our deployable shelter systems.
The Assistant Project Manager will work alongside the wider Project Team to coordinate activity, often working independently and with initiative.
Responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating with Project staff on project documents and deliverables.
- Assisting Project Director with planning of subcontracted work.
- Assisting the Project Director with shipments of materials to the appropriate sites as required.
- Providing regular updates into the Integrated Master Schedule to ensure compliance with Project timescales.
- Ensuring work packages are delivered within approved budgets.
- Assisting in maintaining positive and effective communication during the project.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

- Proven experience of delivering work packages within a highly complex project
- Proven experience working within either a Project management, Continuous Improvement or management environment
- Strong ICT skills
- Ability to work unsupervised whilst being part of an Integrated Project Team
- A proactive approach to managing workload
Desirable:
- An Engineering / Project Management background gained within Aerospace and/or Defence.
- Project management and/or risk management qualifications.
Based in the UK, with operations in Canada, Marshall specialises in the design and production of deployable operational infrastructure and mission support for humanitarian, defence and security operations across the globe.
Other core services include the integration of complex systems into a range of vehicles for use by the military and security services including explosive ordnance disposal and battlefield ambulances all underpinned by a full in-life managed service provision to ensure customers' equipment is available where and when they need it.
