The Project Manager within the Export Team serves as a pivotal link between our sourcing brewery and the import market (internal client or JV Partner) or distributor.
The primary objective is to optimize the export process and oversee the demand planning process for export markets, ensuring seamless coordination between market demands and supply commitments from various sourcing breweries.

By aligning market demands with sourcing capabilities, the Project Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring optimal capacity planning, high case fill rates, and customer satisfaction.
Job Description
Case Management and Export Process Optimization:
- Act as a dedicated case manager for the export process from APBS and other sourcing breweries, overseeing and optimizing all aspects to ensure efficiency
Liaison Between APBS, Sourcing Breweries, Import Market/Distributor, and Sourcing Entity:
- Foster effective communication and collaboration on sourcing matters between APBS, other sourcing breweries, the import market or distributor
- Serve as the primary point of contact, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and facilitating smooth information exchange.
Demand Planning & Statistical Forecast:
- Application of demand planning tools and data (e.g. statistical forecasting techniques and models, sales data and trends, stocks levels) to generate demand plans to the agreed level of detail in a timely manner to facilitate supply and production planning for domestic and export orders
- Meet all sales forecast requirements and ensure achievement of sales volume committed by Commerce Team
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing on product allocation and prioritization in case of product shortage
- Monitor and control stock levels including imported beers to prevent out of stock situation
- Manage slow moving and obsolete stocks including write-offs and recharge where appropriate, to internal departments or export customers accordingly
- Master data creation and maintenance of finished goods including imported beers in Mendix/ BASE JDE
- Monitor and maintain demand/ sales forecast
Supply Commitments and Capacity Planning:
- Translate demand plans into supply commitments with different sourcing breweries, with a focus on APBS, strategically during market onboarding or annual strategic processes and ongoing operationally.
- Work closely with sourcing breweries, with a focus on APBS, to ensure optimal capacity planning and evaluate case fill rates.
Customer-Centric Mindset and NPS Management:
- Adopt a customer-centric mindset and implement Net Promoter Score (NPS) methodology in managing relationships with distributors and internal clients.
- Address issues derived from inner and outer loops of NPS, striving to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Continuous Improvement and Pain Point Resolution:
- Identify pain points related to suboptimal processes in the export chain and develop innovative solutions.
- Ensure swift implementation of solutions to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Scenario Analysis & Project Management:
- Work on and manage ad hoc Planning projects including, but not limited to Demand Segmentation, SKU Rationalisation, Brewery Capacity Model (BCM), Anaplan (Requirements & Conditions), Transfer Pricing Review, preparation of business cases
Management Information & Monitoring Forecast Performance:
- Assist, initiate and support Planning communication throughout whole organization
- Assist in monitoring supply chain KPIs and prepare performance reports for management review
- Actively standardize, simplify and harmonize processes and seek alignment across different stakeholders
TPM & Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in and champion TPM Plan Pillar
- Analyze demand planning and performance data to provide management with inputs on opportunities for further improvements, aiming to reduce/ optimize costs and improve process performance
- Contribute to achievement of performance indicators, and advice and / or initiate action towards improvement
Requirements
- 4 - 5 years of relevant experience in demand planning, preferably in FMCG industry
- Supervisory experience preferred but not a pre-requisite
- Exposure to financial data analysis/ quantitative techniques
- Experience in project management preferred
- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Finance or Business Administration
- Competent computer proficiency (Microsoft Office)
- Experience in statistical forecasting and understanding of financial and operational impacts of forecasting
