Responsibilities of a Project Manager:

• Embedding the client's requirements in every aspect of the project, offering the clients added value to give them the assurance that they can trust the Contractor in providing a quality start-to-finish delivery
• Assisting the Site Manager with any problems or concerns on site
• Regular liaison with the client, discussing progress and acting as the company representative
• Senior management meetings on progression of sites making sure directors are aware of each development
• Discussing build-ability and design issues
• Managing Health & Safety
• Programming and planning all works
• Devising a build programme
• Recruitment of staff, organising trades and labour
• Ensuring KPI's are being achieved

The successful Project Manager must have:

• A strong background in the social housing refurbishment sector/decarbonisation sector with knowledge of working under PAS regulations.
• CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid

As Senior Planner you will be joining my clients award winning team operating across multiple sectors and markets including commercial offices, mixed-use buildings, residential, retail, education, distribution and logistics, manufacturing, hotels, and leisure.

Duties Included But Not Limited To:

• Working closely with the on-site project delivery team, you will be expected to meet personal development targets, project goals and business unit targets.
• Provide and achieve consistent, accurate and reliable programme data.
• Develop planning solutions using Asta Power Project and Microsoft Project Programming Software Packages.
• Develop Design Deliverable Programmes in conjunction with the Design Manager.
• Develop fully integrated Project Programmes to measure progress, including critical path analysis. This will include, Procurement Programmes, Commissioning and Completion Programmes.
• Develop Information Required and Procurement Schedules from the Project Programmes.
• Review tender/construction drawings/specifications/bills to gain a clear understanding of the project, in order to establish a robust build sequence form which to develop the programme solution.
• Review and challenge subcontractor programmes including methods and logistics; compare them to the Project Programmes to ensure they are fully aligned or integrated.
• Assist in the delivery of reports to the Project Delivery Team and Client (as required) including critical path network and rescheduling of activities where appropriate.

Requirements:

• Extensive planning experience
• Proficient with Asta Power Project
• A valid CSCS Card
• Willing to travel to multiple sites
• A valid UK driving licence
