Overview:

The general function of this position is performing project management duties for repair orders from customer inquiry through invoicing. The project manager position is responsible to analyze, quote, process and coordinate orders with the customers, shop operations, engineering and sales, while ensuring total quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability per company guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain required data to properly prepare repair quotations, including required scope, cost, pricing, lead-times, available resources, etc.

• Ensure that once quotation becomes an order, job is implemented properly.  This, including placing correct parts orders, writing accurate and detailed work scopes, and making sure all other required resources are available throughout job duration.

• Help to promote future business opportunities through customer satisfaction with all phases of their experience with Elliott.

• Properly analyze inspection reports in order that correct actions are taken. This should lead to orders that enable us to reach established profit goals and create customer satisfaction.

• Maintain communications on all orders, including formal written communications, schedule and direct customer meetings, hold review meetings with shop personnel with regards to order status, and maintain communication with sales and management.

• Project management and engineering.  Projects will range from simple single-stage industrial equipment to complex multi-stage engineered apparatus.

• Order maintenance, including acknowledgment letters, accounting interface, maintaining job folders, closing out jobs, preparing information for invoicing and filing.

• Process and issue final reports to customers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in engineering. Experience in repair of turbomachinery in lieu of engineering background will be considered.

• Project management certification is a plus.

• Candidate must be mechanically inclined and possess effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Candidate should be self-motivated with the ability to handle difficult situations and demanding deadlines.

• Candidate must be able to work in multidisciplinary teams and possess the ability to develop and grow relationships.

• Organization and time management skills are essential.

This role is to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient business, financial, and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. The main focus of this position is engineering, but there will be cross training in the operations functional business area, as well other assigned functions. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. This position is also responsible for the investigation and triage of application systems problems, generating and compiling reports on findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to system issues. The incumbent will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments. 

Flexible/Hybrid Work Schedule: The work schedule for this position will be a combination of working remote and working in the Jeannette, PA office (as little as one day per week or up to five days per week).

Job responsibilities: 

1. Understand and execute to the policies and procedures defined in the Systems Delivery Methodology (SDM) and the Project Management Office (PMO).
2. Perform as an Engineering functional analyst responsible for analysis, solution design, testing, and production support of PTC Windchill and Creo Parametric.

3. Proactively identify and address issues within engineering systems, troubleshooting effectively to minimize disruptions and optimize system performance. 
4. Act as a backup role for the operations business area. 
5. Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing application systems; and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
6. Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in operating applications systems across the organization. 
7. Participate in, and occasionally lead, the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications.  
8. Create system design proposals utilizing the SDM. 
9. Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems; and prepare business cases to aid management in making implementation decisions.  
10. Ensure compatibility and interoperability of computer application systems. 
11. Create systems models, schematics, business process maps, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide documented direction to application system programmers and other stakeholders.  
12. Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, per SDM, to meet quality requirements.

• Manages refinery and mid-stream projects with multiple strings (EP), large receiving terminal projects (CP & IP)

Scope:

• ·Project order values: approx. $20 million or less depending on product line.

Role Responsibilities

(Schedule management)

• Leads project hand-over from Sales / Application side to Execution side
• Establishes master schedule and sub-schedules with Project Planner
• Maintains on-time delivery with monitoring of engineering, procurement, and manufacturing
• Develops periodic Project Progress Reports and issues to the customer.
• Develops and manages expediting and/or mitigation plans if delay occurs. Negotiates delivery extension with customers if needed.

(Budget management)

• Confirms initial budget after project hand-over from Sales / Application with Execution team.
• Identifies budget overrun when it occurs.
• Approves additional budget when requested.
• Closes budget when a project is completed.

Communication (Internal)

• Cooperates effectively with colleagues / partners across many departments.

Communication (External)

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The function of this job is to strategically manage the issuance and administration of purchase orders for the products and services required in the manufacture of Elliott finished products at the required time, quality, and price (value) levels necessary to achieve the integrity and competitiveness of this end product.  Administer Company and Purchasing policies and ensure strategic sourcing/procurement of material and services at most advantageous value for the company.

NATURE OF THE JOB:

Effectively administer the sourcing/buying functions.  Analyze internal manufacturing capabilities with respect to external supplier capabilities. Collaborate, promote and implement innovative options and initiatives that reduce cost, improve availability and maximize value for the company.   Control all activities within commodity group and special assignment.  Provide leadership to junior members of the supply chain team and across cross-functional interactions. Respond to new and original situations.  Work with category managers to strategically manage supplier performance. Strategically negotiate terms with key suppliers.  This job is covered by purchasing policy and procedures.

BACKGROUND and EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or technical concentration preferred, along with several years of relative work experience.

Contact with Others

Supervision

BACKGROUND and EXPERIENCE
