What you’ll be doing
You will provide clear leadership and coordination for all activities involved in the full life cycle delivery of assigned major contracts. Reporting directly to the Project Manager (PM), you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and handover tasks, ensuring they align with the overall project schedule.
Working in close collaboration with the Project Manager, as the Assistant Project Manager, you will ensure all planning and execution adhere to established safety, quality, time, and cost requirements, supporting the successful completion of the project.

Who you are
You will hold a degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, construction, or a related field, with a focus in either Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC disciplines. Have strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as the role involves interacting effectively with senior management and delivering clear information.
We are looking for someone with strong people management abilities, capable of building relationships, influencing stakeholders, and working collaboratively within complex, multidisciplinary teams, at all levels. What you will be doing

You'll collaborate with the Senior Construction Logistics Manager and Senior Logistics Operations Manager to develop a feasible logistics plan that addresses capacity constraints. Working with the Head of Logistics, you'll recommend a long-term logistics baseline and manage the Logistics Capacity leads to ensure accurate data inputs into the plan. You'll also partner with functional data owners to maintain data accuracy and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and third-party logistics partners. By fostering communication within the team, you'll optimise planning activities and support KPI reporting on logistics planning capability. Additional responsibilities include:


- Define the Logistics capacity baseline plan for delivering services in alignment with the Project plan.
- Identify and highlight key risks and issues that may impact the long-term logistics planning horizon (Product Lifecycle Management).
- Responsible for updating the logistics capacity plan, consolidating inputs from various sources.
- Lead the identification, communication, and management of risks, gaps, and changes to the plan, coordinating actions and escalations for identified constraints.
- Ensure integration of logistics into the Integrated Planning process and governance.
- Manage logistics capacity and constraints across long, mid, and short-term planning horizons.
- Chair the Logistics Capacity Planning meeting, reviewing 4

Who you are

With a strong delivery focus, you excel at influencing stakeholders and driving results through data analysis and logistics planning. You have in-depth knowledge of logistics and planning methodologies, along with a solid understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction methods in the UK. Experienced in NEC and FIDIC contracts, you also possess strong skills in logistics risk analysis and decision-making. Your exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, paired with attention to detail, enable you to manage complex projects. You build strong relationships, applying expertise in scheduling, change management, and risk management to ensure successful project delivery. Additional requirements for this role include:

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be responsible for defining the work scope of the assigned contract or package, ensuring it integrates seamlessly with other programme elements. You will collaborate with the project team to secure necessary resources, monitor personnel needs, and ensure resources maintain the required skills and qualifications. Additionally, you’ll develop and implement strategies and plans in alignment with the Programme Execution Plan (PEP), ensuring the project is effectively organised, managed, and delivered.

You’ll oversee the delivery of contract activities, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and meet business and technical requirements. By monitoring progress against milestones and budgets, you will keep stakeholders informed and address any discrepancies. What you’ll be doing

In your role, you’ll be leading the delivery of a contract or work package, coordinating closely with other programme elements. This includes making sure your team has the necessary resources and addressing any personnel issues as they arise.

You’ll create and execute strategies in line with the Programme Execution Plan (PEP), covering all aspects of delivery, from the "why" and "what" to the "how" and "who." Communication with stakeholders will be key as you drive safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery, while also monitoring progress and reporting on key milestones, deadlines, and budgets.

Who you are

You have a proven track record of delivering projects in complex, regulated environments, ideally within Nuclear Energy, while ensuring safety, security, and environmental responsibility. You’re skilled at managing engineering design, contract strategies, multi-discipline projects, procurement, and complex contracts. Skilled in controlling costs, risk, and schedules, you have successfully handled commercial claims and negotiations, demonstrating your ability to manage projects from concept to handover.

What you will be doing

As the DMIC Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that supply chain partners deliver their commissioning work and documentation in alignment with contract and project requirements at every stage. Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, you will build strong, collaborative relationships with contractors, HPC project managers, quality leads, site engineering teams, and plant operations. Being a Senior Project Engineer at EDF means, having a strong background in project management or engineering, particularly within complex projects. While a degree in a relevant technical field is essential, your hands-on experience in applying project management processes, organising work to meet schedules, and communicating effectively with diverse teams is what we value most.
Experience in procurement and the tendering process is preferred. You should have a proven track record in managing negotiations with suppliers and comfortable working with a commercial multidisciplinary team. A solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation, including Construction Design Management and the Health and Safety at Work Act, is crucial.
We value someone proficient in budget monitoring, commercially aware, and capable of managing contractors effectively. The Opportunity

As the Assistant Project Manager (APM), you'll be reporting directly to the Project Manager and be the driving force behind the successful completion of engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and handover activities.

What you will be doing…

What you will be doing…

As our Senior Project Administrator, you will be responsible for providing professional and precise administrative support to the CommOps programme. This role involves a wide range of duties to ensure the smooth functioning of the team and office operations, while also overseeing a growing team of Project Administrators. Your responsibilities will include:


- Reviewing existing administrative tasks and processes across the programme and implementing best practices to shape the Administration function.
- Supporting senior leadership with daily activities, including internal and external meetings, team events, and managing the overall administrative scope within the team.
- Managing a team of administrators and the Reception team, taking initiative, and leading projects to ensure work is organised, delegated according to individual abilities, and clear objectives are set.

What you will be doing…

As our next Project Manager, your role involves overseeing a diverse portfolio of projects including emergency control rooms, emergency power supplies, emergency equipment, police stations, and access buildings for the site. While primarily focused on civil base projects, you will also manage mechanical and electrical fittings. You will be responsible for guiding the police station project through stages 3 and 4 of design, overseeing the pricing after design approval, and managing the subsequent construction phase. This includes securing contracts for the police station design, managing subcontractors, and coordinating the architectural fit-out.

Additionally, you will manage the timeline for smaller buildings within the portfolio, ensuring that interfaces, design, procurement, and construction plans are executed at least 12 months before the site goes live. Your responsibilities encompass comprehensive project management from initial design to final construction, ensuring all projects are completed on time and meet required standards. Other responsibilities also include:


- Assist in securing the necessary resources for project requirements, ensuring staff qualifications and promptly addressing personnel shortfalls or issues.
- Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager to develop and implement strategies and plans aligned with the overall programme execution plan (PEP), ensuring effective management, organisation, and execution.
- Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, executing project or PEP strategies within the assigned contract or package of work, and providing progress reports on milestones, deadlines, and budget.
- Anticipate, manage, and resolve issues within the contract or package, identifying risks, facilitating issue resolution, and escalating concerns to the Senior Project Manager when necessary.
- Ensure that schedules for the contract or package of work are developed and maintained, consistent with overall Project schedules, and incorporate lessons learned and best practices for continuous improvement.


Who you are…

As a professional in complex project management, we’re looking for you to bring a wealth of knowledge in leadership and a strong grasp of various project management tools. Your proficiency in applying estimating, scheduling, programming and risk will be essential to deliver the requirements of this project. You will demonstrate ownership and responsibility, exhibit a proactive, can-do attitude, and possess strong interpersonal skills. Effective stakeholder management is also crucial for success in this role.

While a degree in engineering, construction, or a related field is desirable, your demonstrated project management experience in engineering design, contract and field execution strategies, multi-discipline projects, construction activities, procurement, and management of complex contracts will be paramount in this role.
