The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as an operational air planner for planning, scenario development, and execution of AF-wide operational level-of-warfare command and control exercises and experiments supporting Component Major Command (C-MAJCOM) and Component Numbered Air Force (C-NAF) level programs to provide a realistic environment to train Joint Force Air Component Commanders (JFACC), and Commander Air Force Forces (COMAFFOR) and Air Component staffs, other service commanders and staffs, joint, and coalition organizations.

1. Applying military aviation experience, analyzes, develops and evaluates issues and develops recommendations to resolve substantive problems and issues of effectiveness and efficiency of work operations in C-MAJCOM programs.
2. Documents planning and programming decisions in appropriate formats to meet Air Force and C-MAJCOM/C-NAF requirements
3. Monitors, evaluates, and actively participates in strategic planning to improve organizational direction and focus using strategic planning tools and techniques
4. Represents 505 CTS with a variety of command and functional area organizations.

• The primary duties required are those necessary for the journeyman planning, provisioning, executing, evaluating, and reporting of testing of aircraft and their mission planning systems and capabilities.
• Incumbent is responsible for the management, maintenance, and administration of classified and unclassified information systems, devices, and computers to ensure compliance with applicable DoD and USAF requirements.
• Incumbent participates in, and assures integrated test program support for design reviews, Test Plan Working Groups (TPWG), and other test planning activities.
• The incumbent develops and applies appropriate and innovative analysis methods and techniques to the evaluation of the system under test.
• This position develops, prioritizes and reports on organization performance goals and objectives.
• Team building will be employed to provide integrated evaluation of the weapon system under test, continuous improvement in the evaluation process, and best response to the needs of the customer.
• Incumbent helps to ensure implementation of appropriate technical, safety, and security policies.
• Coordinates with discipline engineers to plan flight test missions for test execution.
• Communicates, builds relationships, and participates in teams.
• Conducts developmental test and evaluation of mission planning systems (hardware and software) integration to include test planning, investigating problems, data analysis, technical test reporting, and deficiency reporting
• Performs mission planning database files downloads and system updates to keep mission planning systems and aircraft aeronautical data current
• Provides mission planning subject matter expertise to the developmental test and evaluation team. Maintains a working knowledge and understanding of Technical Orders and aeronautical charts and data
• Maintains current knowledge of computer operating systems, networking, and DoD computer security practices
• Provides training to new engineers on mission planning requirements and software, as needed

• Serves as the commanders' focal point, applying Air Force and service equivalent military rated aviator experience to oversee, organize, manage, and determine policies, directives, programs, doctrine, and procedures for the establishment and maintenance of advanced projects for the USAF, COCOM, or MAJCOM operations at the Distributed Mission Operations Center (DMOC).
• Responsible for providing operational guidance and direction to staff and participating personnel on exercise planning, conduct, results reporting, special methodologies, and capability assessments.
• Improves advanced programs and organizational direction and focus through using specialized planning tools and techniques to direct and manage all areas of operations.
• Incumbent serves as the AP Operations Research point of contact for high priority, large-scale unilateral Air Force and Joint Service exercises, experiments, tests, evaluations, and studies assigned.
• Oversees contractors supporting CAF DMO and 705 CTS/DMOC exercise planning to Joint and Service Level exercises.

• Develops detailed plans, goals, and objectives for implementation of assigned cyber duties major command level Information Technology (IT) projects.
• Serves as a senior security specialist and focal point for systems architecture.
• Represents MAJCOM/A6 with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
• Develops IT policy and guidelines.
• Acquires/procures IT hardware, software and/or capabilities required for assigned projects.

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To serve as an Air Operations Center (AOC) Formal Training Unit (FTU) Instructor and subject matter expert. Responsible for oversight of AOC FTU lessons; training students on operational level warfare command and control through the five divisions of the AOC, coordinating and de-conflicting blocks of instruction, training schedules, and lesson execution; as a subject matter expert (SME) in the assigned area.

1. Plans, organizes, coordinates, directs, and implements course development and instruction.
2. Applies military AOC Team experience.
3. Develops practical training exercises.
4. Evaluates instructional programs and participates in special projects for the formal training unit.

PRIMARY PURPOSE: (DUTY TITLE: CYBER EXERCISE PLANNER), Joint Exercise Planning Specialist, to oversees all facets of Cyber operations while serving as a Commander, Air Combat Command's (COMACC) Operations Officer, and Joint Staff Operations in all Headquarter Air Force level Air Component Training Exercises (ACTE) with geographic/functional combatant command (GCC/FCC), joint, coalition and/or allied headquarters exercises to train C-MAJCOM/C-NAF Headquarters in their Air Component readiness requirements.

DUTIES:

1. Plan, organizes, directs, and participates in a wide range of complex Cyber exercises involved in Geographic Combatant Command (GCC), joint, coalition and/or allied exercises.
2. Applies Cyber knowledge to analyze, develop, coordinate, and evaluate issues and recommends development of solutions to resolve substantive problems and issues of effectiveness and efficiency of work operations in support of the Wing mission.
3. Represents 505 CTS current operations with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
4. Plans, directs, coordinates, reviews, and evaluates a variety of cyber activities on service level and DoD/JCS level exercises and events supporting Air Component training.
