What will the Finance Business Partner role involve?

• Ensure timely production and review of monthly management accounts and analysis reports.
• Provide forecasts and assurance reports, offering comprehensive narratives and explaining variances, while collaborating with the business to identify remedial actions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with the Senior Leadership Team.
• Assist in the completion of annual budget setting aligned with business objectives, providing financial assurance for supported business areas.
• Offer expert advice to manage risks effectively.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement to deliver high-quality services to customers.
• Assist in providing financial monitoring services for investment/project spending, including tracking efficiency savings against business case targets.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Business Partner Vacancy:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience as a business partner.
• Ability to confidently analyse and challenge information constructively.
• Strong ability to build effective working relationships.

The CMA HR Division have been instructed to recruit for an organisation based in Southampton, Hampshire to recruit a HR Business Partner on an initial 3 month contract with the view to being permanent at the end of the contract.
The organisation has recently undergone a period of change and their current HR Business Partner is being seconded to a project and needs their role covered with BAU HR tasks and day to day running of the HR team.

What will HR Business Partner role involve?

• Performance and line management of the HR team, including appraisals, absence management, mentoring and support;
• Learning and Development; providing support and coaching to people managers and deliver and maintain professional development, assessing specific development programmes when required;
• Oversee and develop the process of staffing requests and budget allocation and support managers in the changes to their staffing requirements;
• Employee relations; ensuring legislation is followed, supporting the current HR Advisors and senior managers with guidance and participating in complex cases;
• Analysis of HR data; maintaining the people database, keeping team KPIs and reports up to date for senior management;
• Ensure payroll is completed by the payroll team each month.

Suitable Candidate for HR Business Partner vacancy:

• Ideally CIPD Level 5 qualified or above;
• Experience of managing a HR team and working within a generalist role.
