The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as an operational air planner for planning, scenario development, and execution of joint operational level warfare exercises for the purpose of supporting Major Command (MAJCOM) and Joint level training programs/exercises designed to train the Joint Force, Coalition Partners, Combat Air Forces, Air Mobility Forces and Contingency Response forces.
- Applies military aviation operations experience to analyze, develop, coordinate, and evaluate issues and recommends development of solutions to resolve substantive problems and issues of effectiveness and efficiency of work operations in MAJCOM programs.
- Documents planning and programming decisions in appropriate formats to meet Joint, Air Force, and MAJCOM training requirements.
- Monitors, evaluates, and actively participates in strategic planning to improve organizational direction and focus using strategic planning tools and techniques. Records training audience progress and performance.
- Maintains professional and technical expertise.
