• Implements and administers the SAP information and industrial security program for the Advance Program Office.

SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is: To secure and manage the training program within the 3rd Munitions Squadron. The program includes, but not limited to: upgrade training (UGT) and on-the-job-training (OJT); civilian training requirements (if applicable); retraining; formal training coordination and scheduling; instructional systems development (ISD); professional military education (PME) scheduling and management; ancillary training; unit training planning; preparing briefings on status of training (SOT) to the commander; provides guidance and assistance on technical training data to unit commander, managers, and supervisors.

DUTIES:

• Supports the commander's priorities by carrying out a variety of recurring precedented public affairs assignments.

Provide end-user support for all users and systems within the organization and serve as the organization's first line of help to resolve IT and computer systems related issues. Assists in planning for short-tenn and long-tenn loss of system hardware and software; monitor system efficiency, audit logs, and error logs; perform routine system and database maintenance and troubleshoot system failures; perform routing system, database, and user data backups; and ensure end-users are trained and provided user manuals. May be assigned the duties of Cybersecurity Liaison (CSL}, Equipment Custodian (EC), and/or Records Custodian (RC). Area of responsibility includes end-users, workstations, servers, and peripherals within the Force Support Squadron. Will keep work areas clean and organized. Will be driving between different facilities located on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson to perform duties. • Performs a broad range of safety and occupational health duties in one or more areas of safety and occupational health.
