Sydney Civil Pty Ltd Civil Engineering Technician: Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year  Sydney Civil Pty Ltd is a leading civil construction company highly experienced in local government, and major commercial and industrial projects with a reputation for providing a professional, integrated service to its clients.  We are seeking a Civil Engineering Technician to assist civil engineer on construction project.  Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Help civil engineers to plan, design and build infrastructure related projects, as well as help to plan, design and build commercial, residential and land development projects. Prepare schematic design documentation and provide space allocations to the hydraulic services for civil engineering works for implementation into the overall building design. Estimating and preparing calculations for the sizing of the various hydraulic systems to ensure finished work is within specifications, regulations and contract provisions. Inspecting civil engineering works and organising and supervising maintenance and repair work Directing fieldwork and laboratory tests of construction materials and soils  Required skills Knowledge coordinating large teams on high level projects. Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering At least 2 years of full time work experience in a related role Hours and environment You will be working 38 hours a week, but when deadlines have to be met, you can be required to working longer and later hours or at weekend.  Business Requirements Ensure the business is presented to a high standard at all times Provide all management reports in a timely manner and ensuring accuracy of information To follow the processes and procedures as set out in the company’s policies and procedures documentation To ensure the smooth fly of information across the business in relation to the programming force and ensuring they cause the lease disruption to other areas of the business.
