We have a fantastic opportunity for a Security Escort at HMP Bullingdon in Bicester. A category B, the prison has a capacity of 1,114 and is a resettlement prison with a focus on men at the start of their time in custody and as they prepare to transition back to their communities. The prison also holds individuals on remand and those with short sentences.

Your new role
Working as a Security Escort, you will be responsible for escorting contractors as they carry out maintenance work around the prison for a variety of different projects. Duties will include:
* Full body searches for contractors as they enter and leave the prison.
* Tool checks.
* Patrols.
* Ensuring that health and safety standards are achieved throughout the contract.
* Attention to detail when monitoring work.

This role will require you to work Monday-Friday, 7.30 - 4.30 with an hour's unpaid lunch.
This is an ongoing temporary contract but can lead to a career with HMPPS.

Premium rate: £14.00 (inclusive of holiday)
Weekday Overtime: £17.41 (inclusive of holiday)
Weekend Overtime: £22.92 (inclusive of holiday)
Please note, the clearance process involves BPSS and Enhanced level 1 clearances, which can take between 1-2 months to complete.

As a Prison Security Escort, you will work alongside the prison service, assisting our client who is responsible for the maintenance of the buildings. You will be a part of security team where you will escort and oversee contractors such as carpenters, plumbers and electricians, whilst they complete their maintenance work.

Duties of a Prison Security Escort Include (but not limited to)

• Checking the identification of the contractors

Elite Support Officer

Pay rate: £14.50ph

Job Overview:

Here at Serco, we are currently recruiting Security and Traffic Officer based at RAF Brize Norton. This role is responsible for the effective delivery of the Serco contracted security/reception duties under the instruction of the security shift supervisor as directed by the security manager.

Main responsibilities of the role include:


- Maintain a record of daily duties in a pocket book which will be maintained daily and may be requested to recall incidents in a Court of Law.
- Control the access and egress of vehicle traffic, military personnel, visitors, contractors and Unit employees at the RAF Brize Norton main gate.
- Control the flow of traffic/pedestrian
- Checking ID cards and vehicle permits to ensure only permitted individuals gain access to the unit.
- Assist in the search of vehicles, visitors and baggage when delegated.
- Provide welcoming service ascertaining the requirements of individual visitors, contractors or deliveries and on the production of the relevant ID
- Respond to and carry out emergency procedures as and when delegated.
- Provided a vehicle escort service to visiting/delivery/collection vehicles for ESA and Air Cargo.



What you’ll need to do the role:


- UK Driving License for car (essential) no more than 6 points.
- Be able to hold a colour perception category of the required standard to enable the issue of an Airfield Driving Permit.
- Ideally hold a SIA License (Not essential)

A well known commercial Law firm based in the City of London is seeking a Legal Cashier, paying up to £27,000 plus an extensive benefit package, to join their growing team.

The Legal Cashier will support the wider Accounting team with the cashier duties including supplier invoice processing and office and client account receipts and payment processing.

This will predominantly be a remote working role after a period of initial training at the London office. There will be times you will need to be in the office for team meetings and socials, but prior warming will be given.

Duties will include the following:

• Process supplier invoices and weekly payments
• Daily review of bank statements for unposted items
• Process daily search fee invoices
• Process daily credit card payments
• Process client and office account payments by BACS/CHAPS
• Process office account direct debits to the ledger
• Updating client accounts
• Any other ad-hoc administration tasks needed by the team

The ideal candidate will come from a legal background and will have 6months to a years experience working in a legal cashier capacity. Other backgrounds may be considered but cashier experience involving client accounts and billable hours will be needed. You will be analytical, with a high attention to detail and a great understanding of legal billing. Excellent communication skills, you will be the go to person in the team for updates and reporting on your accounts.
