SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a first level supervisor and assist the Child Development Center Director in the supervision of the day to day operation of a Child Development Center. Assists with the supervision of the Child Development Center to provide specialized developmental childcare and instruction for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age. The position develops, implements, and administers child development programs; provides an overall safe and healthy environment to stimulate and sustain the interest of children; assists with administration; and organizes the educational and developmental programs managerial authorities.

DUTIES

• Assists the Child Development Center Director in the daily operations of the Child Development Center.
• Assists in the administration and evaluation of ongoing programs of individual and group developmental and educational activities for staff implementation and execution.
• Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
• Provides assistance in the management of funds and resources to include developing the annual NAF and APF budgets, which includes submission and prioritization of program component requirements.
• Assists the director in the administration of the USDA nutrition/food program.

• You will direct, plan, manage and coordinate DPTMS programs and resources.
• You will draft and prepare executive correspondence and reports to higher headquarters, subordinate and serviced activities.
• You will execute the military training program in support of garrison.
• You will administer the Army military personnel testing program; manages training ammunition; and provides training aid support to all active and reserve component personnel.
• You will develop and execute all contingency plans necessary for rapid reaction to domestic emergencies, acts of terrorism, and natural disasters associated with earthquakes and weather phenomena.
• You will coordinate installation plans with all major tenant units, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and state and local emergency management agencies.
• You will direct the garrison's personnel security, intelligence and counterintelligence programs.
• You will manage and controls the programs and operations through more than two lines of supervision.

• Provides support to management in planning, organizing, and overseeing the Staff activities of the 515th Air Mobility Operation Wing with direct oversight of Comptroller, Manpower, Public Affairs, CE and Historian functions.
• Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
