• You will ensure protective equipment is worn, all safety practices and good housekeeping rules are followed.
• You will recommend assignments of personnel to ensure skills training is optimized, using current ships availability and schedule.
• You will instruct and advise students who appear to be falling behind in level of proficiency, suggest how improvement can be made, and report disciplinary problems to shop Supervisors.
• You will efficiently relay supervisory instructions to other workers assigned to the task or project.

As a IT PROGRAM MANAGER you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Facilitates implementation and adherence to Section 508 standards, regulations, policies, plans processes, procedures, and assignments related to the Section 508 Program in support of the Office of the CIO.
• Must be a champion for accessible technology, and promote access to training, tools, and resources that enable agency components to deliver solutions that support the needs of all users.
• Develops standards, program policy and interprets policy for all DCSA elements.
• Provides training for stakeholders on roles and responsibilities related to Section 508 compliance.
• Serves as the principal agency authority on Section 508 compliance matters and manages legal

AVIATION SECURITY DUTY MANAGER

Information

Four on four off shift system, rotating between days and nights.

Twelve hours per duty with an average of forty two hours per week.

Must have been in the UK over 3 years

Must have a clean Criminal Record

MUST Not have any colour Vision deficiencies

Job Role

-Have direct responsibility for all supervisors and security agents on shift.

-Ensure all contractual shifts and positions are covered with fully trained security agents.

-Maintain the professional level of the operation.

-Achieve and maintain full compliance with the regulator, airport, and MITIE standards.

-Maintenance of client and company procedures

-Daily reporting with the MITIE senior manager on all operational areas and concerns.

-Report and log any disciplinary or performance issues as soon as they arise.

-To perform any other duties as directed by the senior manager.

-Ensure quality of services provided by MITIE matches customer requirements.

-Ensure all CAA procedures are maintained.

-Promote MITIE positively with customers and their staff.

-Ensuring sufficient manning / equipment is available to carry out operations to expected standards.

-Deal with any problems that arise amongst personnel during shift.

-Consult with all supervisors to ensure effective communication levels are maintained.

-Ensure all contractual shifts are covered with competent trained officers in line with company and customer procedures.

Responsibilities

-Ensure all equipment testing is carried out.

-All paperwork is checked for completeness and compliance with site requirements.

-Ensure the identification process is followed in line with requirements, with a focus on ID passes and validation against requirements.

-Staff assessments carried out against the set number of disciplines.

-Surveillance and patrol requirements are met as per the site strategy along with incident reporting.

-Proactive management of the employee resource

-Liaise with airport operators and ensure Cwith the correct procedures followed.

-Oversee all HR processes for the team.

-Daily team management to ensure standards are maintained and exceeded.

• Manage the security systems and their maintenance such as CCTV, IDS, access control system, fire alarm system and panic alarm system
• To manage the administration of all emergency response processes on site

• Complete detailed reports on incidents and observations

What you bring:

• You must have an in date SIA Licence
• Proven experience as a corporate security supervisor or relevant positions
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively
• Knowledge of basic security operations and procedures
• Full UK Driving Licence
