This reputable multi-accredited company has a strong pipeline of work in the power sector and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued contract wins, they are looking to onboard a Site Manager to work on a substation scheme in the Grantham area. The value of the works will range from £300k-£750k.

Your new role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, managing direct labour and subcontractors, coordinating all site activities, maintaining an accurate site diary, undertaking site audits and inspections, as well as ensuring projects are delivered safely, within budget and to specified quality. You will be expected to commute and lodge at future sites further afield if need be.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have previous experience in groundworks and precast concrete slabs within the civil engineering industry in a site management capacity and hold a CSCS card, SMSTS and First Aid qualification. You will also be able to manage and lead teams effectively to ensure successful project outcomes.

Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Civil Site Manager to join their team.

Your new role
As Civil Site Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of multiple power schemes, from inception through to completion, across England. You will be based on one site at a time, managing subcontractors and direct labour on schemes valued up to £20m. Works will include groundworks, drainage and RC works. You will also be expected to commute and lodge at sites further afield if need be.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have a strong background in civil engineering and have experience in a site management capacity. In addition, you will hold a CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid qualification and be able to manage and lead teams effectively to ensure successful project outcomes. Previous experience in the power sector is desirable. Finally, you will have sound interpersonal and organisational skills.
