Pay between £52,412 - £70,000, plus 27.9% employer pension contributions worth over £17,000, hybrid working, and great work life balance. Includes flexi-time with up 3 extra days off a month.

In this role you will design deliver and support the technical and security architecture design elements for DWP Digital projects and initiatives, as we fundamentally transform the way public services work in the UK>
You'll collaboratively design secure, modern IT architectures for of the most digital transformations in Europe. You'll help us build better services for millions of users.

DWP maintain and modernise services that will be used by nearly every person in the UK, at key moments in their lives.
We'll need you to engage with key projects from the Discovery phase and throughout the life cycle through to disposal. Millions of people access our services every day - we need to be a security architecture exemplar.
Our Security Architects need a blend of technical security knowledge, architecture design, and development skills. You will have a deep knowledge and experience in Security.
You also need to be adept and communication, influence and leadership and you communicate and advocate for security architecture design and decision making with senior leaders, forums and governance boards.
Your Essential Skills:
- Application Architecture design and modelling techniques, tools, and standards.
- Application Security Testing e.g., OWASP and Secure Code Assessment tools, and security of container/cluster based solutions e.g. Docker, Kubernetes.
- Identity Management and federation including SSO.
- Cloud Acceleration, SD-WAN, DDoS and network based controls.
- Cloud based assurance and risk models and their application, including NIST and other associated frameworks.
- Information Security innovation as part of the future of Application Reference Architecture.
It is also beneficial to hold 1 or more of the following (or equivalent) when starting the role but this is not essential:
- Azure/AWS Architecture certified.
- CCSK Certified /CCSP Certified.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

In return for your skills, we pay £52,412 - £70,000 per annum.
