• Conduct pass procedure inspections at Red River Army Depot.
• Provide information, direct calls or visitors to other organizations according to information/action desired, exercising tact, courtesy, alertness and good judgment in carrying out public contacts.
• Operate an electronic typewriter, word processor, microcomputer, or computer terminal, using standard typewriter style keyboard with additional function keys, to prepare a variety of narrative and tabular material from rough draft.

Installs locks, locking devices, and locking systems. Installs new and modern locks in wooden and steel doors. Replaces or services worn or outdated security locks and systems.

Conducts short and long-range planning or maintenance and implements replacement programs for locks and security devices. Assists in maintaining the budget for maintenance, overhaul, and special projects associated with institution security.

Assists in maintaining the armory and makes repairs or services weapons and equipment as necessary. Assists in maintaining inventory and proper level of supplies and equipment that are stored, handled, and prepared for transportation as necessary to ensure the armory is in a state of readiness at all times.

Serves as the assistant staff advisor on locks, security devices, firearms, stun munitions, and chemical weapons.

Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution. The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.

• You will prepare documents (e.g., detailed reports, forms, and citations) to record all law enforcement incidents.
• You will account for badges and their associated accesses for all government, contractor, and extended visitors through the maintenance of the badge tracking system.
• You will enter data into security forces database (e.g., issuance to assure eligibility, entry to the designated area identified).
• You will answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.

• You will issue vehicle decals, civilian employee identification badges, visitor passes, contractor/vendor passes, and tradesman passes, maintain vehicle registration, and provide typing and clerical support.
• You will provide guidance and information on security regulations and procedures, exercising sound judgment and discretion in response to telephone and in-person security inquiries.
• You will prepare and issue Defense Biometric Identification Database System (DBIDS) badges with photographs for DoD civilian employees, vendors, and contractors.

The nation’s only College of Business, Security, and Intelligence at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) in Prescott, Arizona is seeking applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in the Cyber Intelligence and Security (CIS) Department, starting in Fall 2024. The department is interested in candidates who can support our undergraduate and graduate degree programs in the areas of embedded and industrial control systems; wireless and mobile security; software and cloud computing security; and machine learning and AI.

Successful candidates will contribute to teaching courses in these areas, play a role in expanding our research capabilities in the cyber lab facilities, and mentor student groups and projects. As a faculty member, you will engage in scholarship of learning and discovery, presenting research in your field of expertise. We are particularly interested in individuals who can develop and teach hands-on focused courses across all levels of undergraduate and graduate education.

Our CIS department makes ERAU-Prescott a National Security Agency (NSA) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) designated National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education. The department has an ABET-accredited cybersecurity program, one of the few in the world, and is an invited member of the prestigious RSA Security Scholar Program and the U.S. Cyber Command Academic Engagement Network. The CIS department comprises six full-time faculty members, serving a diverse student body of over 160 individuals, and has produced more than 200 graduates over the last decade. • • Candidates must hold an earned doctorate in cyber security, computer science, engineering, or a related field and relevant experience is desired, but candidates with significant industry experience and a master’s degree are strongly encouraged to apply.  
  • The ideal candidate should have the ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in topics such as data science (machine learning and AI), wireless and mobile security, security of cloud computing and virtualization technologies, and embedded systems security.
  • Competence in mentoring or leading a design team on a multidisciplinary cyber project is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present and publish research and scholarly activity.
  • Knowledge of embedded systems, cloud computing, and machine learning is favorable.
