- Ensure data integrity and accuracy: Establish and enforce standards, protocols, and best practices to ensure that the data feeding into the analytics tools is accurate, up-to-date, and reliable. This includes managing data quality processes, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions.
- Oversee how data is used in broader operations, ensuring that analytics tools provide meaningful insights to enhance operational efficiency, inform decision-making, and optimize resource management.
- Researches and assesses emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and predictive analytics to enhance PBS operations. Recommends and implements IT solutions and automation tools to streamline business processes, improve operational efficiency, and optimize resource allocation.
- Supervises a team of analysts and program managers. Develops and implements long-range work plans and schedules, or methods, procedures, etc. for the accomplishment of approved policies, goals, and objectives, and provides advice, counsel, or instruction to individual employees on both work and administrative matters. Supervisory functions include ensuring that job descriptions accurately depict the actual work requirements and that personnel actions are promptly initiated; planning and scheduling work; making assignments to subordinates based on priorities; and, accepting, amending or rejecting completed work. As supervisor, the incumbent evaluates employees overall performance and ensures that each accomplishes a satisfactory amount of quality level of work in a timely manner; hears and resolves complaints, and refers the more serious grievances to a higher authority; and, effects disciplinary measures and recommends action in the more serious cases. Evaluates subordinate supervisors and serves as the reviewing official for the evaluations of non supervisory employees rated by subordinate supervisors. Recommends bonuses or awards. Finds ways to improve the quality of work directed and develops performance to meet performance standards.
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, including regional offices, other government agencies, and private-sector partners. Work closely with these teams to ensure their specific data needs are met, including developing analytics to support strategic planning, performance tracking, and customer-related insights
