The Role: This is a full-time fixed term post with a salary of £,30,639. Please note that this is a training contract starting the beginning of September 2024. For internal candidates, this is a secondment post for one year and for external candidates, you will be given a fixed term contract by Cornwall Council to undertake a one-year full-time course to complete the Post Graduate Diploma in Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) in School Nursing at University West of England (UWE). Please note that this will involve travel to UWE in Bristol and some overnight stays. The course combines taught modules at UWE and clinical placements in Cornwall. Successful completion of the course will lead to registration on Part 3 of the NMC register, an NMC recordable qualification so you will be eligible to apply for a SCPHN SN vacancy post within Cornwall Council.
