To be aware of Georges University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust fire regulations, cardiac arrest and major incidents procedures. Undertake training as a fire warden and ensure that sufficient staff in your team is trained as fire wardens. To be conversant with Georges University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust grievance and disciplinary procedures and any other policies as appropriate. Follow midwifery and obstetric guidelines and liaise where necessary with medical staff in the implementation of client care. The post holder has the responsibility for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care and the setting of standards of care within the school nursing service. The post holder has the continuing responsibility for the management of a defined caseload and supervises, deploys and teaches junior staff members and students within a skill mix team. The post holder will provide clinical leadership to a skill mix team within the 5-19 HCP nurses. A high degree of flexibility and the ability to work independently are required; applicants must have a valid driving licence and the use of a car available for work.
