Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experienced Site Manager to join the team. This team works out of Wagga and Canberra, and covers various locations across the ACT and NSW.
About the Role:
Working with a multi-disciplinary team, the successful candidate will lead teams of experienced Operators and a labor force to effectively deliver identified projects for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring project quality meets client expectations.
Collaborating with the Project Manager to create and accomplish the construction program.
Maintaining communication with the Project Manager regarding site-based operations.
Providing supervision and direction to onsite team members.
Managing the coordination of subcontractors.
Conducting Toolbox, Site Inspection, Task Observation, and Site Induction.
Upholding compliance with internal/external safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
Accurately interpreting scopes, plans, and details, undertaking site setout, level checks, and identifying/reporting issues to the Project Manager.
Liaising with Client Representatives while upholding the company's reputation.
About the Ideal Candidate:
Relevant Trade Qualifications.
Experience and knowledge in Civil Works and Road Construction.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans.
Strong verbal and written communication skills applicable to all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Commitment to on-site implementation of Safety, Quality, and Environmental procedures.
Demonstrated leadership skills to train, motivate, and inspire teams to achieve company goals.
Existing rights to live and work in Australia.
