- Subject matter expert on Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Privacy Act and Civil Liberties. Provides legal advice to senior Air Staff, Secretariat, Major Command, and base level personnel on all issues pertaining to administrative law, focusing on information law (Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Privacy Act (PA), Records Management) civil liberties, privacy issues, information technology access and related areas.
- Serves as the principal advisor to and provides legal opinions, consultation, and advice to TJAG, Air Staff, the Secretariat, Major Commands, and base personnel on information, civil liberty, information technology access, publications, Freedom of Information Act, records management, and privacy law and other civil law and policy practice areas.
- Represents The Judge Advocate General's office at meetings on issues related to the functional assigned areas. Creates training plans and provides training to the Air Staff, the Secretariat, Major Command, and base personnel on information, civil liberty, information technology access, publications, Freedom of Information Act, records management, and privacy law and other Civil Law and Policy division practice areas as needed.
