Are you highly reactive and good at managing multiple tasks? As a Technical Resource Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our Waste Operational Control Centre, ensuring the safe and effective coordination of confined space sewer entries and responding to customer notifications of asset failures that could cause pollution. You'll also help facilitate out-of-hours responses and manage real-time scheduling.
What you will be doing as a Technical Resource Coordinator:
- Receiving and coordinating responses to customer notifications regarding above-ground asset failures, escalating where necessary.
- Managing 24/7 scheduling, including out-of-hours responses for issues like internal customer flooding and pollution incidents.
- Supporting first responders for pollution and compliance incidents, ensuring jobs are completed within required timescales.
- Completing live scenario checks, prior to confirming safe entry for confined space sewer entry activities, thus providing critical support for critical Health & Safety activities.
- Liaising with the scheduling team to ensure smooth operations during in-hours work and taking over out-of-hours scheduling activities.
- Working closely with Field and Site Managers to resolve customer complaints without direct customer interaction.
Base location: Kemble Court, with a hybrid working model (10 days in-office and 4 from home).
Shift pattern: Day shifts 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM and Night shifts 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM.
Working schedule: 4 days on, 4 days off ; 3 nights on, 7 days off ; 3 days on, 4 days off ; 4 nights on, 13 days off. Please note this may include working weekends
What you should bring to the role:
- Quick response and problem-solving skills.
- Scheduling and customer service experience will be useful but not essential
- Wastewater experience would be beneficial
- A proactive and team-oriented mindset, and ability to work independently on shifts.
