Pinnacle Group are looking for an experienced Technical Services Manager to assist in the delivery of a Total FM focused contract with proven ability of delivering FM services within a challenging environment whilst managing and supporting a team.

You will be joining our Total FM team covering 6 Schools based in Exeter. The Total FM team provides integrated asset management and maintenance services across the education, leisure, corporate, health and living sectors to ensure facilities operate at their best.

This is a fixed term role for 1 year. The working hours are 37.5hrs per week between the hours of 8am and 5pm on a rotation basis and will participate on a call escalation rota for out of hours service.

Key responsibilities:

• Management of all Hard Services delivered either in-house or by Providers
• Manage and develop Life Cycle planning, implementation and monitoring in consultation with stakeholders and the SPV.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory requirements.
• Ensure that procured products and services are of specified quality, are safe, compliant and from sustainable and traceable sources
• Manage project specific risks including the preparation, implementation, monitoring and review of risk management plans.
• Manage, monitor, review and improve technical services provided under the contract, either directly or through contractors.
• Build professional relationships with key external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction, whilst also meeting the organisation’s strategic and financial aims.
• Assist the Contract Manager in the recruitment, induction, development and management of operational staff, in line with company and statutory procedures, including safeguarding children requirements

Key Requirements:

• Significant experience within Hard FM and Technical qualification in FM or building maintenance services
• Implementation of Statutory Compliance PPM tasks.
• Trained in and working knowledge of construction / FM H&S
• Working knowledge of SFG20, SSoW CAFM and BMS systems
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification
• RP or AP Certification

We are looking for organised and methodical people with experience of working with data and maintaining system integrity. A commitment to accuracy and strong numeracy skills are key. You will need to be comfortable extracting and organising large volumes of data for internal and external audiences. Ideally you will have worked with systems involving complex financial assessments.

About the role:


This interesting and varied new role sits at the heart of the Benefits and Welfare Team, providing vital support to the service. Strong data security and reliable system accuracy are essential to allow the team to deliver support to our residents who rely on us. Keeping the systems working as they should, protecting and maintaining the data within them are a big part of this role. You will also be responsible for extracting and organising data to support statutory returns, performance management and service planning.

About the team:

The Benefits and Welfare Team sits within the Finance Service and delivers both statutory benefits and discretionary support to Exeter households. Sharing a processing system and customers with the Revenues team involves close partnership working across the Revenues and Benefits teams as well as Customer Services and others. We work closely with colleagues in the other Devon district and unitary authorities through the Devon Revenues & Benefits Officers group as well as sharing an IT service with East Devon and Teignbridge Councils.

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone wishing to broaden their experience in a dynamic and friendly work environment. The role focuses on supporting the teaching, learning and assessment activities that take place within our salons and spa. Day to day tasks will include providing exceptional technical support and guidance to staff and students within the faculty. Preparing equipment, products and teaching materials for use in the delivery of the curriculum. Your role will involve a range of administrative tasks such as stock control and purchasing, completing risk assessments along with health and safety checks of equipment. You will be working with a highly skilled and dedicated team that deliver outstanding teaching and training across all levels of hair and beauty curriculums.
