Job: Technical Manager - Legionella Water Business
Location: South Wales
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Working Pattern: 40 hours, with flexi-time available.

My client has undergone phenomenal growth in the last three years since its acquisition into a worldwide leading consultancy. Boasting a healthy and growing monthly turnover and a portfolio of high-profile clients in the South Wales region, they are at the forefront of the water industry's evolution. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a visionary Water Technical Manager to contribute to their ongoing success story.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee water technical operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Spearhead Legionella Control and Water Hygiene initiatives, particularly in Healthcare, Industrial, or Higher Education sectors.
- Manage Quality assurance checking of LRAs and analysing and interpreting report summaries helping to identify follow up work and opportunities in respect of water treatments and remedial plumbing work and convey this to the relevant BDM and or the plumbing team for quotation and action.
- Collaborate with a diverse team to enhance water safety protocols and deliver innovative solutions.
- Ensure Audits are planned, undertaken, recorded and outcomes actioned to ensure compliance and standards.
- Manage and carryout the technical audit and re-inspection programme ensuring competence and development of all staff across all operational functions of the business.
- Liaise with the Health & Safety Director as required and produce periodic update reports.
- Actively engage with high-profile clients to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities for growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar senior position within the water industry.
- Expertise in Legionella Control/Water Hygiene, with a focus on Healthcare, Industrial, or Higher Education sectors.
- Willingness and capability to become part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
- Located in South Wales, ready to make a local impact.
- Health and Safety knowledge and understanding
