Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the medication delivery system and assures that the integrity of all medications is maintained and is properly stored.

Primarily responsible for overseeing the mentor program, matching inmate participants in a faith-based or secular mentor program with a community mentor or team of mentors at or near their release destination. The incumbent works closely with program staff, Reentry Affairs Coordinators (RAC), and other facility staff to match inmates and mentors, track progress, provide and facilitate mentor training for volunteers, inmates and staff, and coordinate program logistics.

Provides training and support for staff, volunteers, contractors, and inmates involved in mentor programs offered by all institution departments. In cooperation and collaboration with the RAC, the incumbent develops working relationships with the USPS, RRCs, and faith-based and community organizations. The relationships established with these entities will be at the level of those staff who work directly with the inmates to foster effective communication of program goals and objectives. Establishing and maintaining these outside community networks is critical to achieving the goal of successful community reentry for incarcerated individuals.

The Branch manager is responsible for a branch that includes four small and three medium hub airports. This responsibility includes 306 Federally funded airports throughout Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri including more than 35 Part 139 certified airports.

Supervises the assistant branch manager and technical staff of up to 17 employees staff engaged in administering all aspects of Airports programs.

The selectee is responsible for overseeing and directing the implementation of the Airport Improvement Program (AIP) ensuring, at a high level, the appropriate coordination (both internal and external) takes place. The incumbent serves as a Health Systems Specialist - Health Professions Education (HPE) Specialist. This position supports the Designated Education Officer (DEO) and HPE management for establishing, maintaining, and evaluating the quality of HPE programs and the quality of care delivered by health professions trainees (HPTs) at the VA medical facility. The purpose of this position is to conduct and evaluate a wide range of program management and administrative duties to fulfill requirements related to VHA's academic mission and OAA's strategic plans.

Duties include, but may not be limited to the following:

• Responsible for the technical work required for HPE programs including affiliation agreements, trainee qualifications and credentials letter (TQCVL), program letters of agreement (PLAs), direct HPT/affiliate staff customer service, and the on- and off­ boarding processes of HPTs.
• Review and validate HPT applications, qualifications, and appointment against OAA criteria before starting clinical rotations and performing patient care.
• Inform management with authoritative analyses, policy guidance and opinions regarding HPT appointment and on- and off-boarding processes as it relates to HPE programs.
