Technology Director Talent Acquisition

DaVita seeks an ambitious, experienced Director to lead our technology strategy for the Talent Acquisition team. This remote-based director will be responsible for delivering innovative, integrated, and scalable technology and documenting recruiting processes with an analytical mindset for developing and delivering reporting that enhances the ability to hire top talent while creating the best user experience possible. This change agent will support the TA team in streamlining TA operations, developing and reporting on talent acquisition metrics, and implementing new technology solutions. This leader will report to the VP of Talent Acquisition. In this role, you will be a strategic leader who is solution-driven and results-oriented and will work collaboratively across the enterprise to evaluate TA vendor solutions, design, build, and implement technology solutions, as well as manage and enhance deployed applications.
As the Technology Director Talent Acquisition, you will be accountable for delivering on the following:
- lead all tech initiatives and support across the TA tech stack, including, but not limited to, workflow creation and updates, system fields, implementation and integrations, user groups/access, new users, user dashboards, reporting, user training, system and process documentation, and more.
- Leverage data insights for talent acquisition strategy (inclusive of our technology and processes) with a continuous improvement mindset, proactively identify improvement opportunities and lead the execution.
- Generate and implement innovative solutions and an understanding of how to take programs from ideation to execution.
- Ability to parse out technology challenges vs. process challenges and efficiently come up with successful solutions
- React to shifting priorities to meet business needs and advise on best practices related to optimizing TA functionality and effectiveness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Strategy / Problem Solving
- Design, implement and administer operating strategies – with an ability to allocate resources and time in a manner commensurate with expected value
- Research, analyze, review, document, communicate and rationalize capabilities and value of IT in alignment with IT strategy and manage expectation for IT demand and services to meet business needs
- In collaboration with CenIT and the business, ensure governance and compliance with legislation, DaVita policies and procedures, and overall IT strategy in the execution of project portfolios and capability roadmap realization, and measure quality and business value of IT investments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Ensure an answer-first and teammate centered approach
Project management
- Monitor metrics, track progress of initiatives, and prepare presentations for senior management
- Regularly apprise the Talent Acquisition leadership team on project status and variations from schedule or scope
- Scope, plan and execute multiple, often quick-turnaround projects with minimal assistance
- Advocate and lead business process focus by ensuring IT is integrated in the day-to-day working and decision-making of the business utilizing various tools such as mapping, modeling, workflow analysis, gap analysis, use cases and blueprinting
Leadership and collaboration
- Build relationships within the People Services organization and across diverse departments
- Lead not just through title but through influence, providing strategic guidance and effecting change outside of lane in interest of bettering overall organization
- Direct execution, not just strategic development
Executive communication
- Prepare executive-level presentations to share with all levels of leadership
- Synthesize numerous analyses, translate into specific actions, and gain buy-in to execute
Qualifications
- BA required; MBA or advanced degree (MHA, MPH, MD, PhD) highly preferred
- Minimum 4-6 years related IT and/or consulting work experience managing complex IT projects in medium to large size matrix corporate environments preferred
- Strong experience working with a variety of talent acquisition technologies (ATS, HRIS, CRM, sourcing tools, etc.)
- Ability to identify and analyze data to develop strategic recruiting solutions
- Strong project management skills, can objectively collect/assess requirements and scope of work
- Strong analytical skills and ability to understand data trends and make recommendations based on data analysis
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for building consistent and scalable processes
- Relevant experience in frontline healthcare operations leadership, particularly in dialysis, a plus but not required
- Ability to build partnerships, manage stakeholders, and work collaboratively with cross-functional partners
- Travel requirement varies based on office location; Denver preferred but open to remote
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Workday, CRM, SharePoint, Smartsheets, and various social networking sites and technology platforms and building reports and dashboards

$110,100.00 - $161,700.00 / year
