Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute a technology strategy aligned with Datakrew’s vision and business objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to drive technological advancements.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of our EV battery analytics solutions including integration of the latest EV trends such as V2X, and software-defined vehicles (SDVs). Further, ensure product development processes are efficient, scalable, and secure.
- Lead innovation initiatives to advance and develop our current AI-based solutions to analyze battery data and provide actionable insights, focusing on performance, longevity, etc.
- Design and implement a comprehensive security architecture for all technology systems. Stay updated on advancements in quantum-resistant algorithms and integrate them into the company’s security framework.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of company and customer information.
- Build and manage a high-performance technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment on technology initiatives and product roadmaps.
- Engage with external stakeholders including partners, suppliers, and customers to drive technology adoption and partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and security requirements, including post-quantum cryptographic standards.
- Manage the technology budget, allocate resources effectively, and ensure financial accountability.
Required Skills:
- Strong command of low-level programming languages such as Embedded C, and C++ for firmware development of in-house products.
- Proficiency and understanding of software stacks and technologies such as Node-red, MQTT broker, etc.
- Proven knowledge of working with various security protocols, and cryptography including post-quantum algorithms.
- Experience with handling database systems for large-scale real-time data handling, ETL, and exchange.
- Familiarity with different AI models to develop and enhance AI battery analytics solutions.
- Proven ability to publish patents and research papers in the domain of AI, IoT, EV, or security.
- Knowledge of FPGAs and hardware descriptive languages such as Verilog, and VHDL is a plus to lead next-gen products in the company.
- Experience with Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) such as Intel SGX, and ARM Trustzone to ensure customer data confidentiality and privacy in Datakrew’s products.
- Proficiency in using Git for version control.
- Ability to work independently and as a leader with strong problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent from a top-ranking university.
- Proven track record of leadership in a technology role, preferably within the automotive or EV industry.
- Strong understanding of IoT architecture, AI/ML algorithms, and battery technology. Proficiency in hardware and software development and systems integration.
- Expertise in battery research and analytics, with a focus on performance optimization, data analysis, and innovative solutions.
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing security architectures.
- Expertise in post-quantum cryptographic algorithms and their integration into modern security systems.
- Strong ability to lead and inspire a technology team, with experience in managing complex projects and driving innovation.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute technology strategies that align with business goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Comfortable working in a remote-first environment and managing distributed teams.
