Supporting the Chief Medical Officer you will promote evidence based practice and ensure Trust systems and policies are effective. The role involves working with a range of professional groups on clinical practice matters including GPs the LNC, ICS, and NHSI/E. You will also work in close partnership with senior clinical and managerial staff. Experience of multidisciplinary leadership in a senior medical management position is essential. We are seeking a visible leader with an open and transparent leadership style who has extensive experience of service change and positively influencing performance and delivery. There is an expectation that post holders reduce other commitments to accommodate their Deputy Chief Medical Officer responsibilities.
