Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
The Compensation and Benefits Manager is responsible for administration of employee benefit plans and compensation programs for Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS). The role is a key resource within Human Resources to ensure regulatory compliance and overall market competitiveness. The role partners with the Director – Compensation and Benefits with strategic initiatives, acquisitions and mergers, and serves as a project lead for comprehensive analysis of various programs. The Manager is also responsible for Workday set up, maintenance and reporting as needed.
EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or other related administration field.
Preferred/Optional:
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required: Minimum of five years working with employer-sponsored benefit plans and compensation programs is required. Knowledge of federal and state laws governing employer benefit plans and compensation requirements. Experience with Microsoft products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) with intermediate/advanced Excel skills. Experience with HRIS or other comparable system.
Preferred/Optional: Experience in benefit plan design and negotiations with vendors and consultants preferred. Experience with HRIS; preferably Workday.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
