To provide day to day operational administration functions and end user support of the Electronic Rostering & Attendance (ERA) System within the Trust. To provide administration and technical expertise in relation to the Trusts Electronic Rostering & Attendance (ERA) system including support of the systems functional management capability. To support the training programme and provide information to staff in order to ensure they have a good comprehension of the (ERA) system To support all staff groups in creating efficient, cost effective rosters, including training and roster workshops.Responsibilities: On a day to day basis provide support to the ERA System Administrators. Resolving system queries, providing advice and guidance, resolving software and system operational problems. Provide ERA System Administration. Undertake and maintain system configuration to ensure the availability of up to date and timely data items within systems. Preparation of documentation associated with system processes. Ensure all new system users have received adequate training and have appropriate system access levels to enable them to fulfil their role. Liaise with Human Resources and ESR system team to obtain regular details of system users leaving employment or changing roles, ensuring that system access is deleted or amended appropriately. Act as first line support for systems users, providing advice and guidance, resolving software problems where possible.. Provide intelligence and relevant information to the ERA user group in order to share knowledge and experiences. Also provide feedback to the group where relevant of other Trusts issues and developments. Arrange regular System User Group meetings, prepare agenda, take minutes and institute appropriate follow up action where necessary. To engage with the ERA team during any future new system procurement projects.Most Challenging Parts of the Job: To build relationships with Managers and support staff to ensure that all parties are fully appraised of their roles and responsibilities. To be fully appraised of local requirements and national developments and to know how they will bring improvements and best practice to the Trust. Change management persuading users who are reluctant to change their systems of recording. Successfully achieving challenging delivery targets (e.g. roll-out timetables) We are looking for someone who is highly motivated with a strong eye for attention to detail. You will be a confident communicator and have good interpersonal/administrative skills and knowledge. It is essential that you enjoy working within a team and have a friendly and professional attitude and a calm and confident manner. You will also have strong IT skills, knowledge of windows based software and confidence in learning and using IT systems. Someone who embraces change for improvement and efficiency would be the ideal candidate.
