Anord Mardix, a Flex company, are a global group that manufactures switchgear and associated products for installation in mission-critical and live commercial buildings ranging from data centres to the international headquarters of some of the world’s largest companies.

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Technical Author based at Coes Road, Dundalk, reporting to the Technical Manager.

The technical author will be responsible for creating test documentation for use with the inhouse developed iOS Engineer App in both Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF form formats, in accordance with Anord Mardix drawings and testing schedules. This element involves the extensive use of Anord Mardix’s Vision database and coordination of data therein, particularly during service tag requests. Clear lines of communication will be established with the production teams and project management in Ireland and the UK during this process and workload managed accordingly to meet the company’s demanding production schedule.

The role also involves writing and compiling Operation and Maintenance Manuals and Client Training Manuals to the meticulously high standard that has currently been achieved. This presents the opportunity to further understand the operation of Anord Mardix assemblies as part of the authoring process.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Validate and request equipment service tags via Vision.
• Produce electronic test documentation templates for iOS Engineer App use.
• Generate Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) documentation.
• Write and compile Operation & Maintenance Manuals and Training Manuals.

Position Overview

Become a critical part of building and forming new Software Engineering Scrum teams joining the Building Design Product Line Group. You will be central to our success - a collaborator who bridges business needs and engineering requirements by being responsible for team performance and individual development and growth of your staff.

This team works in a Hybrid working model based from our Krakow office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage successful completion of software development releases.
• Work with your team to help understand requirements, evaluate new features and help drive technology roadmap decisions.
• Proactively engage with customers and Autodesk stakeholders to stay on top of project requirements.
• Drive adoption of open/inner source development models to promote collaboration across Autodesk.
• Collaborate with other teams to accomplish cross-organizational project goals.
• Play an active and critical role in hiring and onboarding your team.
• Manage and monitor team's performance to ensure successful project completion according to goals.
• Provide Professional coaching - communicating goals and expectations, fostering a feedback culture, and providing all support needed for the development of great engineers.
• Inspire and motivate team members to achieve maximum productivity and optimal creativity. Support each team member in their pursuit of career development.
• Be an evangelist of Autodesk Culture.

Qualifications

• Master's (preferred) or Bachelor's (minimum) degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 2 - 5 years of experience leading a team of Software engineers or similar roles.
• Demonstrated experience in all phases of software development life cycle from analyzing the needs to delivery of working solution.
• Experience in managing complex software projects with multiple dependencies.
• Experience in enterprise level product development, delivery and agile practices.
• Experience in hiring and onboarding.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate goals, provide feedback, and foster a positive team culture, including business professional level proficiency in English.

The Platform Services and Emerging Technologies organization seeks a highly motivated Infrastructure Software Engineer to help build and support our entire on-prem and cloud platform infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS and/or Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and Git Administration and will play a crucial role in automating and optimizing our development and deployment processes. If you are passionate about ensuring the reliability and scalability of our infrastructure while promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation, we want to hear from you.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Computer
• Engineering, or related quantitative field, with 7+ years of experience as a DevOps/ML Ops expert in the following areas: WS or Azure deployment, monitoring, and operations
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks
• Experience with source control solutions such as Git
• Experience building Infrastructure as Code (IaaC), such as Terraform and CloudFormation
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) best practices
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience in producing high-quality technical documentation and the ability to communicate effectively with peers, partners, and customers

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus
• Experience working with Spinnaker for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Experience with GitHub Enterprise Server Administration
• Experience with GitHub Co-Pilot Administration and GitHub ecosystem
• Autonomous development and extension of services and tools in the
• Git or GitHub ecosystem using Rust, Bash, Ruby, and REST APIs

About the Role:
