As QA Engineer you will perform the following activities:

• Interpret, understand and validate system requirements for new and existing solutions
• Work closely with the development and product management organizations to derive and interpret complex use cases in order to create the appropriate    test plans and test cases.
• Develop test plans, automated test scripts and test cases that adhere to the technical and business requirements
• Execute complex white box and black box functional, system and regression tests and document the overall results
• Categorize, track and triage new and existing defects for recommendation for future releases
• Provide appropriate test metrics around the results of executed tests
• Actively investigate and recommend new tools, processes and test approaches for improving the quality of the solutions
• Triage issues, react well to changes, work with teams and ability to multi-task on multiple products / projects.
• Provide release readiness recommendations based on test execution and defect metrics

What you bring:

• 6+ yrs of relevant experience in QA Automation Testing
• Primary Skills: STLC, Manual Testing, Automation Testing , SQL, Selenium framework, Java, Rest API, JavaScript and Postman.
• Secondary Skills: JUnit, Mockito, Reddy API, SoapUI or any others Automation Testing tool
• API testing using postman or similar tools, QA automation with knowledge of API Automation or UI automation using Java and Selenium or
• similar tools, Ability to write test suite, test cases, execute test cases, track defect cycle.
• Knowledge of basic JavaScript, Knowledge of API Automation in AWS/Azure cloud, TDD development, Swagger Hub.

As a Technology Business Consultant Senior/Specialist, you would participate in Project implementation as a Test Lead and would be part of Project Life cycle that includes Pre-sales support (SOW preparation, estimation of efforts), Requirement discussion with client, preparation of Test plan, Test Cases scenario, Test case detailing, Work with Test scripting team, Automation execution testing.

What you wil be doing

• During Presales, work with the internal/external client to confirm the scope of testing capabilities to be automated, including confirming test plan and classifying an inventory of proposed test cases along with associated complexity (i.e., T-Shirt size).
• Work with client testing team to create written test cases from business functional requirement.
• Translate written test cases in scope using the standard FIS test case template.
• Liaison between client and scripting team to transfer required test case knowledge to the FIS scripting team, acting in a liaison role, for any questions initiated by the scripting team.
• Hold regular review sessions through the automation process with the FIS scripting team to confirm correct understanding of automation requirements.
• Work with the Client Test Manager to review and approve the completed scripts prior to client use.
