This position serves as an advisor to the Deputy Chief of Staff, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) and Cyber Effects Operations (AF A2/6) in the areas of manpower, fiscal planning, programming, resources, execution and budget, and planning. Represents the DCS/ISR and Cyber Effects in the development, monitoring, and execution of intelligence programs, resources and budget. The incumbent of this position serves as the Deputy Director for the Department of Defense (DoD) Special Access Program Central Office (SAPCO) responsible for the program management oversight and governance of all DoD SAPs in the functional areas of acquisition, financial management, budget, procurement, security, export, and Low Observable/Counter Low Observable policies.

Major duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Establishes oversight procedures related to planning and executing some of DoD's most highly classified programs within the government and industry.
• Responsible for leading change by exercising leadership skills, encouraging creative thinking and innovation, and influencing others toward improved SAPs and processes.
• Builds coalitions and effective communications avenues on issues relating to SAP implementation.
• Identifies and defines major planning, management, and problem areas pertaining to all aspects of directorate programs. Analysis of programs and problem areas serves as an input to development of long-range plans and programming options for issue resolution. Develops recommendations based upon in-depth analysis of issues and consideration of overall program missions, budgetary constraints, technological advances, political environment, and resources.
• Acts as a recognized expert in assigned areas, and develops, interprets, and implements policies as well as procedures to support the DoD SAPCO organization. Provides authoritative guidance in problem areas where policy and direction are lacking, based upon mastery of complex policies, guidance, and law.
• Works closely with a variety of external organizations to resolve programmatic issues and participate in special projects. Articulates these policies to affected staff, senior leaders (including the DoD SAPCO), and DoD organizations, and to other agencies, Congress, academia, and industry. Prepares and provides factual reference material for use during senior DoD briefings and Congressional hearings.

The Director of Compliance will be responsible for oversight of all quality assurance operations related to the ORR Call Center and execution of project deliverables. The position will act as a member of the leadership team to recommend technological solutions to building awareness, knowledge, and skill; project manage training and reporting deliverables, and will report to the Project Director for the Call Center. 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Oversee and manage the following: 
• Design and operate quality control measures for call center and program oversight.  
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in execution of all training, QA, and reporting project deliverables.  
• Provide direct oversight of all work streams related to training, QA, and reporting project deliverables. 
• Work closely with the call center staff, ORR (client) and client’s stakeholders in the execution of deliverables and services.  
• Ensure timely and accurate communication with client to ensure transparency and communication of medium and long-term project activities, outstanding issues, and risk mitigation. 
• Enforce uniform development and quality standards and ensure accuracy of project deliverables. 
• Develop monthly reports using available data 
• Directly supervise all subject matter experts in the development of training, FRA/SWB Supervisor and the QA Manager 
• Analyze data collection instruments, tools, and systems to ensure effectiveness and determine when necessary to update or expand systems to provide robust data to the client.  
• Work with clients and SMEs to perform needs assessments to identify critical knowledge, skills, and behaviors; produce gap analyses; and recommend appropriate learning strategies for call center employees 
• Assure all annual and monthly reports are of high quality and delivered according to contract deliverable schedule 

Basic Qualifications:  

• Masters in social services: a Bachelor’s in the same field can be substituted for the MS/MA if accompanied by a minimum of 8 years of training development work in the field of refugee resettlement 
• 3-5 years managing projects or equivalent of project management such as managing multiple aspects of deliverables, deadlines, and partner relationships  
• Minimum of 5 years experience in determining quality of services 
• Minimum of 5 years experience working with a federal client relationship  
• Active Tier 2 security clearance per contract requirements

• Refine DSST’s teacher development strategy - for new and returning teachers - ensuring alignment with our mission and educational goals, with a particular emphasis on curricular content.

• Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality professional development programs for teachers, including summer training and ongoing professional development throughout the school year.

• Develop an online learning experience aligned to DSST’s Teacher Development Progression that includes virtual modules and aligned coaching resources.  

• Evaluate the impact of professional development activities on teacher perception and performance and student outcomes, leveraging data from surveys, observations and student learning to make informed adjustments and improvements.

• Lead ongoing trainings and revisions to teacher evaluation tool and goal guidance, conducting annual working group to seek feedback on tool and goal resources. 

• Oversee the budget for teacher development programs, ensuring strategic allocation of resources to maximize impact.

• Stay abreast of the latest educational research, trends, and best practices, especially in the realm of new career teacher professional development, to continually elevate the quality of DSST’s teacher development program.

Lead the Instructional Leader Development Strategy (25%)

• Lead implementation of DSST’s Instructional Coaching Vision, ensuring coaching is content-specific, supports curriculum implementation and is aligned to DSST’s differentiated teacher development pathways.  

• Design yearlong scope and sequence of professional development, including summer training and monthly training, for Instructional Coaches.  Evaluate the impact of professional development activities on impact of coaching, leveraging data to make informed adjustments and improvements to the approach of instructional leadership development. 

• Collaborate with content Directors to execute a coherent school support model that develops the capacity of school based coaches to implement DSST’s Instructional Coaching Vision and improve student learning. 

• Design and lead monthly School Director instructional training in collaboration with Managing Directors, ensuring coherence to school coaches development experiences. 

Collaborates closely with other members of the broader Schools & Academic Leadership team, School Directors, instructional coaches, and external organizations for increased impact (20%)

• Collaborate with school leadership to assess instructional needs and support the adoption of effective teaching strategies and practices that enhance student learning.

• Forge and manage partnerships with external organizations, educational institutions, and experts to introduce cutting-edge teaching practices and resources to DSST Public Schools.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Acts as a serving leader to direct, administer and oversee the day to day operations and activities of dialysis facilities and programs within a specified and potentially changing geographic proximity.  The scope includes, but is not limited to, chronic in-center clinics and home therapy programs, in an assigned area ensuring compliance with established company and regulatory guidelines and procedures, to provide high quality dialysis service and superior patient care to the community.  Participates in the implementation of divisional and company initiatives and strategies.  Practices cost containment strategies, maintaining profitability and growth of area, while ensuring compliance with all pertinent company policies and regulatory requirements.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides strategic leadership of short- and long-term goals through the use of thoughtful and collaborative techniques in the communication of the company’s mission and core values as a means to implement positive change and/or create organization structure within the designated facilities/programs.

Leadership

• Acts as a serving leader to oversee the dialysis business of assigned facilities and programs within a defined area through effective leadership and management of quality patient care, customer relations, marketing and responsible fiscal management.  Coordinates operational strategies and activities to ensure the provision of superior quality patient care and dialysis service while adhering to regulatory and company guidelines and requirements ensuring efficiency and economy.
• Leads the development of area strategic plans, goals and objectives ensuring alignment with those of the region, division and company.  Implements, disseminates and administers operations strategies and objectives to ensure the achievement of the division’s and company’s goals and objectives.  Implements facility, program and area specific quality goals and action plans in order to achieve company quality standards.
• Provides leadership support and guidance to facility/program management including clinical and home therapy managers and other support staff.  Provides informal feedback on an ongoing basis and formal feedback in the annual performance evaluation process.  Manages the staffing through the appropriate hiring, firing and disciplinary actions in collaboration with HR.
• Mentors, guides, supports and provides subject matter expertise to direct supervisory reports with region.
• Ensures all employees receive the appropriate training and education according to company policies and procedures including ongoing compliance training. 
• Collaborates with the appropriate Corporate and local groups to ensure the growth of all modalities.

Strategic Operations/Development

• Responsible for addressing and acting upon adverse event and action thresholds in area of responsibility.
• Collaborates with management to develop clinical and program budgets, monitoring performance to ensure optimal, efficient and effective operations practices with regulatory and company guidelines.
  • Responsible for profit and loss management of assigned clinics, programs and areas including optimal performance of facility operations to achieve or exceed budgets and key performance indicators.
  • Works closely with Managed Care resources to increase the payor mix and to retain commercial patients.
  • Manages the payroll and oversees facility expenses and accounts payable for the assigned programs and ensures  cost containment strategies are practiced.
  • Reviews the balance sheet and income statements regarding revenue growth and commercial payer mix on a frequents basis to understand the status of the business.
  • Determines impact of proposed changes and identified improvements prior to implementation to ensure a positive effect.
• Accountable for implementing and driving the Staffing, ScheduleWise and other business initiatives including the prompt implementation of corrective action plans for clinics/programs with below threshold performance.
• Ensures efficient and economical performance in accordance with clinic operating budgets and takes the appropriate actions to ensure the attainment of profit and year-end goals and objectives.  Responsible for the implementation and achievement of the business plan and key performance indicators.  Reviews analysis of performance including financial and productivity data for area with management and makes the appropriate changes in strategies, goals and objectives responding to current status and conditions.  Coordinates and oversees all logistics associated with patient care within the assigned area.
• Collaborates with the operations management team to respond to Joint Venture (JV) opportunities, to identify merger and acquisition opportunities and to participate in the related activities as appropriate.  This may include, but is not limited to, providing oversight of the JV operations; participating in JV Board meetings and JV Management meetings assuming Board positions as needed, and taking the appropriate steps to ensure the JVs are in compliance with all pertinent company and regulatory requirements.
• Maintains current knowledge regarding community and regional healthcare market and industry issues which may impact business.  Utilizes current knowledge of FMCNA products, services and strategies to market the company and grow the business.
• Works with clinical and program managers to synergize and drive patients to move to Home where applicable while balancing the needs for incenter/home programs and creating a collaborate approach.

• Responsible and accountable for facility/program maintenance of environmental integrity including safety of all facilities and water systems within designated area.

Responsibilities:
 

• Head and main responsible of FME Global Business Services Center in Wroclaw, and for all final products related to Services provided herein (Integrated)

• Define the GBS overall operational strategy aligned with FME plans and objectives, and integrated with client specific business strategies.

• Define objectives and establish GBS management policies, to ensure service delivery under scope, and satisfy customer requirements within the agreed time and quality standards.

• Manage and control recurrent costs and GBS investments maximizing the use of resources allocated, in order to guarantee profitability and economic benefits to the organization.

• Determine the marketing strategy and regional/local service management model of the GBS to ensure value promise for clients, in terms of quality, opportunity and costs, in order to build long-term relationships with stakeholders and guarantee standardization of national services and operational schemes.

• Assure compliance with Service Level Agreements established with clients, promoting the detection of areas for improvement that will increase the quality of the service delivered.

The Role You'd Play as a Director of Operations for a Region based in Wichita, KS.

DaVita Kidney Care is seeking an ambitious, operationally-focused and results-driven Leader. This position will be based in Wichita, KS. As the Regional Operations Director, you are responsible for a portfolio of 10 outpatient dialysis clinics, ~200 teammates with 10-12 direct reports (clinic managers) and a P&L of ~35M. You will report to a Division Vice President and collaborate with other region and division leaders including a finance manager, people service manager, medical directors to drive your business forward.

Required qualifications to be a successful Director of Operations:

• 5+ years’ experience as a supervisor/leader in operations with at least 2+ years of multisite experience.  Healthcare industry background a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree, Master's Degree strongly preferred

• Strong leadership acumen; successful team management and development

• Prior P&L management experience. Demonstrated track record of successful fiscal and operating leadership; demonstrated financial expertise

• Experience working in a matrix organization with the ability to manage multiple priorities across various stakeholders and departments

• Demonstrated strong analytical, quantitative and logical thinking skills

• Advance computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel required; intermediate skills and proficiency in MS Work, Outlook and PowerPoint required

• Availability for regional and some national travel; up to 40%
