Summary
The objective of the role is to lead, architect and manage the technology eco-system of LK Asia Data Platform and integrate with IT Enterprise Architecture along side business controlling that supports the organization’s vision, mission, and strategy.
What you'll do
The holder of the position is mainly responsible for the following areas in coordination with his / her superior:
Lead and manage staff of data engineers to build, maintain and support the data architecture.
Design and build the DWH database models (star schema).
Design and build efficient data pipelines (ETL) that ensure data quality and integrity.
Manage the BI semantic model, security roles, access rights and row level security filters.
Work with business counterparts as well as IT Business Consulting, Infrastructure teams and external vendors on new data requirements.
Ensure proper maintenance and support of the BI architecture including security roles, deployments, security patching and monitoring to ensure performance and compliance with internal technical and security guidelines.
Ensure proper documentation of data infrastructure, data models, workflows as well as security concepts in accordance with internal security policies.
Assist IT management with ad hoc tasks related to BI, reporting and audit as well as other tasks when required.
What you'll need
- 8+ years of experience in IT, preferably with BI Development background and exposure to different BI domains, platforms, and technologies.At least 2 years in staff managing position.Strong knowledge and proven hands-on experience in data warehousing (e.g. ETL design/development, data modelling)Proficiency in Oracle and PostgreSql.Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capability and business process understanding.Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.Good leadership and people management skills.Proactive, self-motivated, hard-working and able to work in a dynamic environment.Good spoken and written communication skills in English
