About our client: Our client is a leading global integrated resort operator.
*Please note that this role will be hired on a 1 year contract basis, with option to renew for another 1 year, to support our client's in-house projects.
About the role:
I.
a. Perform all duties in compliance with the policies/standards of company and directives of parent company.
b. Coordinate with all internal Facilities Sections in the execution of assigned projects.
c. Coordinate with all inter-department stakeholders for execution of the assigned projects.
d. Ensure safe working environment for the team members and contractors at all time Drive for continuous improvement by leveraging new technologies and data analysis tools.
e. Implement effective fire safety management program to prevent fire incidents.
f. Support Sustainability and CSR efforts.
g. Any other works as may be reasonably assigned by the company.
II.
a. Manage and execute the assigned projects in accordance with the Company’s policies and guidelines.
b. Plan and establish projects concept, schematic designs, design development and tender documentation with budgetary estimates and proposed construction schedules.
c. Plan and manage the assigned project budgets to suit the requirements.
d. Prepare tender documents, scope of work and specifications in accordance with the agreed scope of works.
e. Evaluate local market conditions with regards to labor, material and equipment
f. Maintain and qualify bidders and bid lists.
g. Conduct and coordinate design, pre-bid, post-bid, pre-construction, partnering and contractor. meetings
h. Prepare contract strategies to maintain both the interest of the company and contractor.
i. Prepare and distribute bidding addenda and construction documents which include pre-bid RFQ, RFI
j. Recommend award of contract based on cost, budget and analysis.
k. Work with Contactors and the Procurement team on RFI Logs
l. Anticipate order logs, cost reports, document control and distribution of file maintenance.
m. Review contractor’s safety plan and risk assessments
n. Document existing conditions prior to construction phase
o. Ensure smooth construction process with the help of as-built construction schedule, field diaries, and timely reports.
p. Ensure that all systems and equipment affected in the project scope will be re-commissioned to perform to the establish standards.
q. Manage /support the project hand-over and/or pre-opening program, including on-site physical.
inspection and defect rectification
r. Manage discrepancies, punch list and defects management that occur throughout construction phase
s. Conduct timely inspections and verify contractors “as-built documents” to ensure that storage, quality and contract are in compliant prior to issuing of payments
t. Ensure that as-build documents are in place.
u. Conduct trainings for stakeholders and end-user.
v. Closeout projects by conducting testing, getting statutory approvals, substantial completion, final reconciliations and generate postmortem report for the management team.
w. Establish effective inventory management and stock controls to ensure adequate spares.
