Job Summary
Katalon Studio is a leading test automation solution that simplifies the process of creating and managing automated tests. It supports web, API, mobile, and desktop applications, providing a comprehensive and intuitive platform for test automation. With its robust features, including record and playback, scriptless test creation, and extensive integration capabilities, Katalon Studio empowers teams to achieve higher efficiency and accuracy in their testing processes.
Your opportunities / responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Product Manager and team to develop new features and enhancements for Katalon Studio.
- Assist in performing technical analysis and design to decompose features based on high-level design and business requirements.
- Create and maintain high-quality software applications, following development standards and best practices.
- Work closely with fellow engineers to ensure product quality, security, and performance.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain consistency and quality throughout the codebase.
- Identify and suggest improvements within the existing codebase.
- Contribute to internal engineering initiatives by developing reusable libraries, tools, and frameworks.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to support customer requests.
- Assist automation QAs and product specialists in maintaining the demonstration system and writing test scripts.
Must-have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in Java programming.
- Familiarity with API development and database design.
- Experience with SPA technologies (Angular, Ember, React).
- Understanding of coding best practices, including clean code and design patterns.
- Willingness to learn and apply automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Good knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective English communication skills.
Nice-to-have
- Experience in desktop/CLI/mobile application development.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructures like AWS and Kubernetes.
- Experience with event-driven and message queue frameworks (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
