Job Summary

• Implement backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain responsive frontends using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern framework (React.js, Vue.js, or Angular).
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code, and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications, ensuring the performance and quality of products.
• Work with relational databases, developing queries and ensuring data integrity.
• Continuously learn and adopt new tools and technologies.

• Experience:
• At least 6 months of hands-on experience in Java 8+ and Spring Boot.

We are looking for a Mid-Senior Application Security Engineer who thrives working with engineering teams to secure their products across the entire software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform application security vulnerability management and collaborate with the engineering team on vulnerability remediation.
• Support the Vulnerability Disclosure Program to ensure that vulnerabilities reported by external parties will be handled appropriately
• Collaborate with DevOps to set up and maintain security scanning tools within pipelines.
• Facilitate and support the preparation of security releases;
• Assist in the creation of application security training;
• Assist in the development of automated security testing to validate that secure coding best practices are being used;
• Participate in and support application security reviews and threat modeling, including code review and dynamic testing;
• Assist in Penetration Testing both internally and externally.

Key Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science or related or 3+ years of experience;
• Relevant information security certificates (GIAC GWEB, CSSLP, CCSP, etc.);
• Strong ability to work with colleagues to understand our products and then come up with ways to improve existing security infrastructure;
• Ability to read and understand code is very important, key languages include;
• Experience with Penetration testing tools and Devsecops tools such as SonarCloud, Snyk, Burp Suite;
• Solid understanding of web application security ( Web Pentest). Penetration Testing experience is a plus;
• Experience in cloud security architecture and infrastructure (AWS is preferred);
• Experience coding in at least one scripting language;
• Able to reason about security decisions;
• Experience leading projects from start to finish and mentoring other security practitioners;
• An ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively to engineers who know way more than you about their code;
• Familiarity with common security libraries, security controls, and common security flaws;
• Experience with OWASP, static/dynamic analysis, and common security tools;
• A basic understanding of network and web-related protocols (such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, protocols);
• Excellent and professional communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to articulate complex topics in a clear and concise manner;
• Experience identifying security issues through code review.

Job Summary

You will be a vital member of the CloudOps Database Engineering team. The critical scope includes working as a database engineer responsible for collaborating with the Katalon Platform product teams to architect, deploy, maintain and support databases for the Katalon Platform of Products for customers in our Katalon Cloud hosted environment. 

These  responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

• Build and maintain AWS Aurora PostgreSQL databases for Single Tenant SaaS solution - aligning the security, compliance, performance, and resilience requirements of the Katalon Platform databases 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database solutions for new and existing projects, ensuring adherence to Katalon database standards. 
• Perform database tuning and optimization to provide maximum performance. 
• Monitor database systems to ensure data integrity, availability and cost-effectiveness. 
• Assist the Functional Business, Application Development and Technical Teams to provide release management support 
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner. 
• Perform major and minor release upgrades utilizing strategies that provide for the least downtime.

• 3 - 5 years experience acting as a PostgreSQL database administrator 

• Experience designing and building relational databases 
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred) Experience with various administration and development platforms for PostgreSQL (eg.,pgAdmin) 
• Expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries in PostgreSQL 
• Experienced working in an Agile, ITIL Process, fast-paced DevOps environment Experience building scripts on UNIX / LINUX 
• Demonstrate sound logical thinking and problem-solving skills 
• Good at English in communication skills, including oral and written 
• A bachelor’s degree in a computer science-related field or equivalent work experience is preferred but not required.

We are seeking a Mid-level / Experienced Software Engineer who will be a part of a cross-functional Agile team continuously developing & delivering Katalon Studio, an all-in-one test automation solution for Web, API, mobile, and desktop built for both beginners and expert testers. Within the testing community, Katalon Studio (KS) is seen as a growing powerhouse, which is further evidenced by being ranked a top automation tool in several reputable industry reports. To make it happen, your opportunities/responsibilities shall be:

• Collaborate with the Product Manager and Team to develop KS's new features and enhancements
• Build code that meets the development standards for code style, design patterns, readability, maintainability and apply best practices for scaling;
• Work with peer Engineers to grow the technical accountability of the system to ensure release product quality, security and performance.
• Identify areas for improvement within the existing codebase and suggest solutions to improve;

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer who will be a critical part of a cross-functional Agile team continuously developing & delivering Katalon Studio, an all-in-one test automation solution for Web, API, mobile, and desktop built for both beginners and expert testers. Within the testing community, Katalon Studio is seen as a growing powerhouse, which is further evidenced by being ranked a top automation tool in several reputable industry reports. To make it happen, your opportunities/responsibilities shall be:

• Collaborate and propose solutions to abstract existing services for reusability or to improve performance;
• Work closely with Solution Architects on the high-level design and do tech spikes to ensure delivery feasibility;
• Work closely with the CloudOps team to define & build CI/CD process for release services that meet compliance and quality requirements;
• Proactively identify and provide suggestions for better dev experience to increase dev speed/productivity;
• Contribute to Katalon SaaS Platform to optimize the operation and maximize business value;
• Collaborate with the Product team and take the initiative to propose ideas and solutions that solve business problems;
• Collaborate with the architecture team to create and maintain the solution document;
• Collaborate with team leaders to catch up and standardize the development process;
• Take leadership and work with the team to achieve the quarter and yearly goals;
• Be a leader to set goals, training, and coaching team members;
• Take part in the engineering working group to refine best practices and standards to apply throughout the development process;

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will be a part of a cross-functional Agile team continuously developing & delivering Katalon Studio, an all-in-one test automation solution for Web, API, mobile, and desktop built for both beginners and expert testers.
