Brief Role Objective:
As the public face of the IT Department, the Trainer's role will involve providing high quality training to the business on all our products and solutions, both those built in-house as well as vendor solutions. In addition, the Trainer will be responsible for socialising all new feature rollouts to end users and will act as a conduit to feed in business requests into our product function.The role requires the individual to have a strong technical aptitude, be an excellent communicator, as well as build a good understanding of the business. The role provides the opportunity to work with enterprise-grade financial systems and develop new skills on the job.
Key Responsibilities:
- Devise and deliver technical training programs according to organisational requirements, including producing training schedules and course content
- Prepare training materials (presentations, worksheets etc.) for our core systems such as Figaro and Salesforce, in addition to others
- Execute training sessions, webinars, workshops etc. in groups or individually
- Arrange for and conduct on-site training in the regional offices when needed
- Keep and report data on completed courses, absences, issues etc.
- Determine the overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements
Key Regulatory Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with the letter, spirit, and expectations of applicable legal and regulatory requirements at all times (e.g. FCA, Money Laundering/Proceeds of Crime, Data Protection, Health, and Safety), ensure conformance with Directives with regard to conduct, security, culture and other general business compliance control procedures.
