We are seeking a Recruitment Project Supervisor to join our fast-paced and dynamic team of Recruiters on a fixed term basis to support the recruitment of our new Theatre campaign.
The project will encompass the recruitment of a wide range of staff groups, including medical professionals, nursing staff, healthcare scientists, allied health professionals, and administrators. The successful individual will play a crucial role in ensuring that a diverse and skilled workforce is effectively recruited to meet the varied needs of our Theatre campaign, recruiting from both locally and internationally.
The role will need to ensure a professional, accurate, and customer-focussed service is provided to all stakeholders.
Within this role, you will be responsible for managing a small team of recruitment assistants and you will support them in successfully delivering a high-standard recruitment service.

• This role oversee the recruitment operations for the campaign, providing line management guidance and support to the recruitment administrators.
• Coordinating and lead daily morning team meetings to identify and action daily priorities.
• Ensure that recruitment activities remain on track to meet deadlines and conduct weekly activity reviews with each member of the team, utilising KPI information from TRAC reporting.
• Ensuring that all team interactions with stakeholders reflect the Trust’s values and behaviours, addressing any behaviours that do not align with the Trust’s expectations.
• Provide a swift, efficient, and effective recruitment service, delivering on the Trust Recruitment KPIs, and manage the recruitment team activity against these agreed KPIs.
• Champion value-based inclusive recruitment for all
• Ensure the team request Inter Authority Transfers/ STFs during the Recruitment process to ensure accurate salary and Continuous Service Dates on the contract
• Liaise with, IT, Occupational Health and Payroll effectively to ensure smooth running of on-boarding process.
• To assist in the prevention of illegal working by carrying out repeat checks against sponsorship of migrant workers within the Trust as required.
• Determine candidate visa eligibility in accordance with Home Office Immigration Rules and thereafter processing applications and payment for relevant Sponsorship using the Sponsor Management System (SMS)

• To provide line management guidance and support to the recruitment team.
• To regularly update the recruitment team with employment changes.
• Ensure the Recruitment team are visible, supportive and continuously improve the service provided to stakeholders.

Recruitment
• Provide a quick, efficient and effective recruitment service, delivering on the Trust Recruitment KPI’s.
• Manage the recruitment team activity against the agreed KPI’s.
• Champion value based recruitment for all staff and provide support as a value based interviewer.
• Daily management of the TRAC dashboard ensuring all applicants are receiving regular updates and the daily tasks and queries are managed and answered.
• Conduct monthly data quality checks to ensure ESR is up to date and has no missing fields.
• Produce performance reports for review meetings and attend to update on compliance against the KPI’s.
• Using reports from TRAC, provide weekly statistics to the Divisions to help monitor progress and performance.
• Provide specialist and general advice to the Recruitment team, answer queries based on specialist knowledge of NHS check standards and employment legislation.
• As required, attend local and national Workforce, recruitment, TRAC and NHS jobs networking events & trainings, updating the team with the content on return.
• Introduce and attend national careers events, milk rounds and schools to promote medical careers at OUH. Liaise with Staff to ensure they support the promotion of vacancies.
• Social media administration and contributor for Trust Recruitment accounts (e.g. Facebook Group / Twitter), oversee accounts, respond to comments, engage with prospective candidates and contribute regularly.
• To provide full desk coverage in the absence of team members & peers; to support colleagues and other members of the team at particularly busy times
