WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

In summary, as someone who has experience of providing advice and support to Managers on a range of HR issues, particularly ER cases, you will support in many aspects. To name a few:
Work closely with managers in the areas allocated to you, forming productive working relationships. Provide advice on conditions of service, policies and procedures, ensuring they are effectively communicated and interpreted.
Provide specialist Employee Relations advice, managing ER cases end to end
Support managers in confidently addressing ER issues

This is a high dependency complex care service for women with learning disabilities, associated complex needs who may have behaviours that challenge

**To be considered for this position you must hold a qualification within Speech and Language Therapy and a current HCPC Registration**

Your responsibilities will include:
• Provide assessment, advice and treatment who is skilled in diagnosis and management of the swallow and communication needs
• Working alongside nurses, OTs, physios, psychologists and psychiatrists, you will work compassionately with individuals and their families, friends and carers to achieve person-centred goals and support each person in their planned outcomes
• You will also be accountable for the supervision and management of another SLT who works in the service on a full-time basis

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Experience working with individuals with Learning Disability and/or Autism
• Post-graduate qualification in the assessment and management of Dysphagia
• Excellent understanding of core Speech and Language Therapy skills and current best practice in Speech and Language Therapy and specific service
• Excellent understanding of specialism, e.g. PMLD, Paediatrics, Autism, Learning Disability
• Knowledge of current assessment, intervention and outcome measurement within specialism

To build high pressure compressor sub-assemblies, blocks and custom engineered products to high quality standards.

Responsibilities:


* To build high pressure, reciprocating compressor blocks of various sizes within the designated time frames, to high standards.
* Build a wide variety of sub-assemblies for compressors and aftermarket use
* To build custom engineered compressor sets with limited instruction.
* Accurately read and interpret general arrangement drawings, manuals and written instructions in order to produce a quality product.
* To ensure Health and Safety policies are adhered to and requirements are maintained.
* To assist in problem solving and potentially repair compressors in the event of test failures.
* Work in a lean environment and continually strive in improve the work environment and methods.
* Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required within the scope of the role.

Key Competencies:


* Building of reciprocating compressors
* Fitting / assembling of piston compressors / engines.
* Use of lifting equipment
* Use of computer equipment

Qualifications:


* Apprenticeship / NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience.
* Knowledge of fitting techniques, such as roller bearing fitting, piston/cylinder assembly etc.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings & written instructions
* Working to lean practices and techniques
