General Maintenance Operative
We have a great opportunity for an experienced and motivated handyperson,to work with an established contractor in the Newport area.
The ideal candidate will be safety focused, multi skilled with a passion for high standards, strong work ethic, have a flexible approach and willingness to learn new skills.
Working as part of a two-person team you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining pumping systems and carrying out general maintenance and repairs, such as light carpentry, minor plumbing, painting and ground maintenance.

- Knowledge & experience in the basic skills of general maintenance
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently or as part of a two-person team.

- Able to comply with Health & Safety procedure
Essential Qualifications:
- Full and clean UK Driving Licence
Package:
- 40 Hours per Week - Monday to Friday
- Auto enrolled onto the company pension scheme
- Uniform and PPE Provided
- 28 days holiday per year inclusive of Bank holidays
The successful candidate will be subject to our client's induction process that will include drug & alcohol testing.
