Your new role
As a Logistics / Operations Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of the logistics process. From a customer's initial request to the final delivery, you'll coordinate courier loads, manage key relationships with subcontractors and third-party providers, and ensure efficient, timely delivery of goods, all the while keeping your customers updated with delivery progress. You'll track shipments, solve any issues that arise, and make sure that each customer has a smooth, hassle-free experience. This role is perfect for a skilled multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a pivotal role in the growth journey of this company. There will also be an opportunity for you to help with business development opportunities, giving you the chance to earn commission on new clients that you bring to the business!
What you'll need to succeed
- Logistics experience: Proven background in logistics, freight forwarding or transport planning.
- Exceptional organisation skills: Able to juggle multiple tasks and stay organised under pressure.
- Confident communicator: Skilled in building relationships and working with third parties.
- Excel proficiency: Confident using Excel spreadsheets for tracking and reporting.
- Courier Exchange Platform experience (ideal but not essential) familiarity with using this platform is a plus.
