Applications are invited for the post of HR Assistant (Employee Relations) in the Human Resources Department. This is a full-time, permanent role that will support the Employee Relations and Business Partnering team and the Head of Collective Employee Relations. The postholder will provide efficient and high-quality administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of key HR processes and maintaining confidential and accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
Arranging and producing agendas and minutes for meetings and ensuring follow-up on actions.
Supporting investigations and hearings, including note-taking and producing meeting packs.
Managing responses to complex and sensitive correspondence.
Assisting in generating employee relations-related data analytics reports.
Maintaining accurate electronic records and files.
Interacting with stakeholders at all levels and building positive working relationships.
Key Skills and Experience:
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to use tact and diplomacy.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting demands and meet deadlines.
High level of attention to detail and confidentiality.
Proficiency in IT and administrative tasks.
Experience working in a busy HR department, with knowledge of the HE sector being desirable.
