HR Business Partner - CPFT NHS

Role Purpose

The HR Business Partner will provide strategic and operational HR support to the Trust, acting as a key point of contact for managers and employees. The role requires a balance of hands-on HR management and the ability to deliver organisational development and workforce strategies in line with NHS objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Support:

• Partner with senior managers to deliver HR strategies aligned with organisational goals.
• Lead workforce planning initiatives to address current and future staffing needs.
• Support the development and implementation of change management programs.

Employee Relations:

• Provide expert advice and guidance on complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with NHS policies and employment law.
• Manage disciplinary, grievance, and capability cases, promoting a fair and consistent approach.
• Act as a mediator and advisor in conflict resolution processes.

Organizational Development:

• Contribute to the design and delivery of organizational development initiatives.
• Support training and development programs to build leadership and staff capabilities.
• Promote diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement across the Trust.

Operational HR Management:

• Oversee recruitment processes, ensuring timely and effective onboarding of staff.
• Monitor and manage workforce data, including sickness absence, retention, and turnover metrics.
• Support managers in implementing performance management and appraisal systems.

Policy and Compliance:

• Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date and comply with NHS standards and employment legislation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure GDPR compliance in all HR operations.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or equivalent, ideally within the NHS or public sector.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and workforce planning.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations cases.
• Experience in organisational development and delivering HR projects.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills

• CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above).
• Experience in supporting transformation or change management projects.
• Familiarity with NHS-specific policies and frameworks.

Recycling Operative

Taskmaster Recruitment are looking for a Recycling Operative to work for our client based at their site in Thriplow, Cambridge.

Rotational Shifts: This will be on a rolling rota so weekend work will be required. The hours are 7.30am - 4pm - 5 days a week (Monday to Sunday role, however covering 5 days in a 7-day period).

Pay rate: £12.00 per hour.

Duties may include:
• Sorting recyclables into correct areas.
• Use machinery to feed recycling waste for processing.
• Inspect materials for any contaminations.
• Clean and maintain equipment.
• Meet the requirements of audits and cleaning specifications.
• Ensure the correct protective equipment is correctly worn at all times.
• Ensure work is carried out to the highest standards of health and safety.
• After a qualifying period our client would like the successful candidate to progress onto a Team Leader position.

Joining the operations team, you will be required to support both the pre-contract and contracts team, where you will coordinate with bid and construction teams to manage and control the planning and programming aspects of bid proposals and multiple projects in progress. These projects can cover a number of sectors including Healthcare, Education to Defence, with project values up to £100m
Duties to include:

• Produce tender programmes
• Produce tender deliverables
• Produce, manage and update the construction programme
• Manage and incorporate change events into the construction programme
• Provide detailed support and assistance to the project in order to enable the team to monitor pinch-points on the critical path and test and change logic where previously agreed to either improve upon the baseline programme or to mitigate potential delays
• Produce reports and programme commentary for customers on particular reporting requirements
• Produce programmes, reports as required by the project team
• With the commercial team, produce earned value analysis data
• Issue programme updates
• Attend progress meetings
• Develop and produce a fully logic linked and integrated tender programme comprising the design, procurement, construction and commission compliant with tender sum, design (where appropriate) and methodology without assistance
• Manage the planning and programme process by closely monitoring and controlling the development and implementation of the programme and checking completeness of supply chain packages
• Ensure planning and programming is produced on time
• Ensure processes are followed on all projects
• Input to the risk management process
• Work with allocated operations support in the production of method statements and ensure that the tender programme aligns with the pricing methods
• Develop and produce logistics and phasing plans
• Engage with supply chain and bid team members to discuss and achieve optimum programme and method solutions
• Attend all tender meetings as required and assist in the preparation of bid submission documents
• Identify, communicate and add key programme risks to the risk register
• Ensure effective communication of bid strategy and solutions to the project team
