Your new role

We are seeking an experienced IT Technician to work in schools located in Sudbury and the surrounding areas. As part of a trust-wide IT team, you will provide 1st line support, maintaining school IT equipment, installing and maintaining software and hardware, and offering technical support to teachers and students.

This is a new role working as part of a busy and industrious team. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of 8 and will be responsible for the successful running of the Out of Hours Team. You will be responsible for ensuring the team is trained, KPIs are achieved and performance managed. Duties include but not limited to:

• Manage the team's attendance
• Completing quality checks on the team's performance and team calls
• Ensure the team are receiving continual training and coaching
• Manage KPI performance
• Dealing with escalated complaints
• Attending client performance calls

• A strong customer services background
• Previous management experience
• Being used to working with multiple client requests and actively multitasking

This newly created Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary role is providing support for Fee Earner. Duties include but not limited to:

• To provide secretarial support to fee earner.
• Audio typing using digital dictation.
• Electronic Diary management, booking meeting rooms, arranging meetings.
• Liaise with clients, companies, solicitors.
• Amending and reformatting documents in Microsoft Word and using track changes.
• Applying for searches using online services, including Land Registry Portal.
• Using HMRC website to complete stamp duty land tax forms.
• Dealing with post-completion matters.
• Deal with client queries, and take instruction from clients.
• Assist fee earners in the maintenance of time recording.
• Record and assist in the opening and closing of files.
• Assist fee earners in the maintenance of client accounts. This includes preparing any documents for cheques and banking.
• Assist fee earners in managing the client ledger account including the clearing and closing of accounts.
• Maintain the filing system.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary job you will need:

• Recent residential conveyancing legal secretarial experience is essential.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
• ALB Case management experience desirable
• Attention to detail, excellent grammar is essential.
• You will be a team player who is able to prioritise and multitask.
• Excellent telephone manner.
• Possess the ability to deal with client queries when the partner is out of the office.

Office Duties
