We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible Facilities Manager to join our Facilities team to ensure the maintenance of the Academy's estate including buildings, facilities and Health and Safety. You must guarantee a very high and consistent standard is met to satisfy the academy's requirements and those of all regulatory and statutory bodies.
You will be responsible for the day to day, medium and long-term maintenance, to provide an appropriate safe and secure environment for the education of students and the safe, comfortable and effective work of all the staff, members of the school stakeholders, contractors and other visitorsYou will have responsibility for managing the facilities team and associated contractor's in-line with statute, appropriate guidance, best practice and within budget.To be successful in this role you will have a good standard of literacy and numeracy, relevant health and safety qualifications (or be willing to work towards them), and experience of managing an estate at a strategic level in either the public or private sector.
You should have a flexible approach, be able to build a rapport with staff and students and be able to work under pressure.
