This role will support the Strategic Partnerships Lead in the management and ongoing improvement of operational delivery, whilst also significantly contributing to the development and strengthening of existing partner relationships, as well as building new ones with potential programme partners.
Role Overview
The Senior Relationship Manager will report directly to Strategic Partnerships Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Take key account management responsibility for an existing portfolio of Money Guiders Programme Partners, building strong and lasting relationships whilst also identifying and progressing opportunities for new partnerships.
- Provide long term consultative support to programme partners, helping them to develop and deliver sustainable money guidance services, and increasing the breadth, depth and quality of the guidance that they deliver.
- Support the Strategic Partnerships Lead to develop the partner strand and ensure it progresses in line with strategic and scale up planning.
- Working closely with the UK Partnerships team at MaPS to engage with new potential partner organisations, and to manage ongoing relationships with Money Guiders programme partners
- Ensure programme partners are fully aware of all programme components, and championing the benefits of them aligned to partner needs.
- Capture and provide insight, intelligence and feedback from Programme Partners to inform the future development of the programme.
- Keep abreast of the complex and diverse systems within which the Money Guiders partner organisations and practitioners operate at a strategic, policy and practice level
- Working collaboratively with Money Guiders Leads and Operations Managers, to continuously improve the operational delivery of the programme, with a focus on relationship management activities.
- Review, develop, improve, and as appropriate, introduce and embed systems and processes into current ways of working
- Support data sharing requirements, including taking responsibility for Data Sharing Agreements with Money Guiders Partners.
- Review and update programme collateral, working with our Programme Co-ordinator to manage and maintain version / change control.
- Work closely with our Programme Co-Ordinator to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of Money guiders partner practitioners’ induction sessions.
Skills and Experience Required
To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels, with demonstrable experience and track record in a similar role of key account management, partnership or relationship management.
- Experience of strategic partnership development with external partners, working towards shared goals and actions, with the ability to work with a range of sectors including commercial, public sector and third sector
- A proven ability to influence external organisations to gain buy in and engagement.
- Understanding of businesses, third sector and public sector challenges and priorities.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage/ influence others to meet deadlines and required standards.
- Excellent written, communication and presentation skills
- Strong organisational, time management and planning skills.
- Strong team player capabilities enjoying matrix working.
- Experience of managing process, systems and data & driving operational improvement in the delivery of services.

others to those in need across the UK.
We do this through providing free professional development to organisations or practitioners
who talk to their customers and service users about money. A key part of this initiative is to
bring on board, support and maintain relationships with our growing number of Programme

Hybrid working is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement and our headquarters in Bedford will be your contractual place of work.
